Memories From A Not So Distant Past

Two Weeks Later

I could see memories vividly of how my past life then came to an end. Helena, with all of her jealous rage drained two girls dry in clear view of the public. I was beaten to death and she hanged two weeks after my murder. I knew how jealous she was back then, but the way she killed those girls was beyond brutal. I wouldn't let it happen this time. Not to my mate.

I was training since I was excused from the office. I was near my old power, I would need all my power to kill Helena. I wasn't a violent person by nature, but would do what was necessary to prevent her from harming Morgan. Morgan was working hard at the art gallery. I was with her almost everyday. I hadn't seen Helena since that last encounter. I knew she wouldn't find this place. It would be suicide for her to try and come in here.

My grandparents told me how they got rid of the vampires in Cleveland and the suburbs. They were very graphic with parts of the story. The wolves after my grandparents, thought that chasing the vampires was ridiculous waste of time. Most vampires got the message and left the northern part of Ohio. Now that Zeus was Alpha, he saw no reason to hunt down any vampires. Maybe his granddad had a point.

Helena, only brought grief and destruction. I really wanted to find a quick and painless way to kill her. I didn't want her to suffer. I guess there was a part  of Emily that was present in my mind. I bet Emily didn't want to hurt in anyway. Then again Emily was her lover, of course she wouldn't want Helena to suffer.  Zeus's granddad wrote down guidelines on how to kill them. I couldn't use any of them because they were all very bloody and violent.

Morgan wanted to learn how to fight, so she started to fight with Pan and the rest of the young wolves. I would get a lot of stories about how she wouldn't stay down and she hits really hard. She always hits me when I'm messing with her when she is busy. It was funny to see her little face get all red, I always knew how to calm her down again. Her temper wasn't as bad as mine was.

We spent more time together here than back in our own house. I enjoyed taking walks with her in the moonlight, having picnics, and making a little love here and there. It felt a lot better under the moonlight for some reason. Her body shimmered under the glow of the moon. That turned me on a little. I always made her feel like a princess when we made love. I didn't know if it would be our last time so I made each orgasm count.

One night I felt a serge of power course into my body. It stunned me for a moment. I think that was the last of the power I needed to end Helena.

"Baby, you okay?" I looked down at Morgana's beautiful face. He red hair looked so alive in the grass. I licked my lips and nodded. I smile at her and begin to grind on her again. I kiss her neck sucking on it for a while. That will be three hickieys in one night. She going hate me tomorrow morning. She moaned when I rubbed my fingers against her soaking flesh.

I kissed her lips sliding my tongue in her mouth. Her nails clawed into my back. My bruises were gone, but I'm sure she is going to make new ones. Her juices splashed onto my hand when she climaxed. Her back arced from the blanket. I put her erect nipples in my mouth sucking on them. She looked down at me and smiled.

"Baby, no milk is coming out no matter how hard you suck." I gazed back into her eyes. We thought a lot about children lately. I really did want to start a family with her. Because of the present dilemma, it was the only subject that kept her mind off of Helena. I kissed her chest and smirked.  

"Babe, I'm thirsty though." We both chuckled.

"Your crazy." She kisses my forehead. I looked up at her with big puppy eyes. She blushed. I loved it when she would blush. The only way she could get any prettier is if she was pregnant.

"I know, but you love me though right?" She smiled at me and kissed me again.

"Mmm... I love you." I rested my head on her chest listening to her heart beat. It was slowing down. I could fall asleep listening to her heart beat. We eventually got up and went back to the big house. Zeus was waiting outside for us. He was looking up at the moon worried.

"Winds are starting to pick up. That's weird considering its the middle of April. Grandda always said that a vampire is poised to kill when winds like this pick up. Do you know where she is Rae?" I shook my head no. He sighed and took off his shirt. He walked towards us then touched our shoulders.

"The two of you be careful. Don't stray too far from each other." He walked into the trees. I picked up Morgan in my arms. She put her head on my chest. I carried her up to our room and laid her on the bed. Her hands clenched around my neck. I went down on the bed with her. I groped her breast.

"No, you had enough for one night. Go to sleep you animal." I gently bit her neck. She playfully hit my shoulder. I nodded and kissed her again savoring the taste of her lips. I rolled on my back. She put her head on my chest. I embraced her tightly. I won't dare let her go. If I do I might loose her, I can't loose the other half of my soul. That will be the end of me.

I awoke the next morning still holding her tight into my arms. I look straight up and meet a pair of cute green eyes. Ryan, Zeus' son was staring at me for some reason. He was holding my phone.

"Can I help you with something mini man?" He smiled and handed me the phone. He tapped me.

"Wake her up." I smiled at him and laid Morgana back down gently. I picked him up and closed the door. I took him down stairs and sat down with him in my lap.

"She needs sleep, today is a big day for her. You going to see the art show tonight with the rest of the pack?" He nodded. Ryan pointed at my phone. I looked down at it, ah shit my boss has been calling me. Ryan gets out of my lap and runs outside. I dialed the number and called him back.

"Jones, been trying to get a hold of you all morning. I know you got another few days off, but I need you to come up here ASAP. Can you do that Jones?"

"Yes sir, I'll be there soon as I can. Bye." I hung up the phone. Morgana walked down the stairs in one of my shirts. She looked so astonishing. I opened my arm and she skipped into them.

"Your boss wants you back at the office?" She sounded disappointed.

"Yep, I'll still be at the show. I'm just going to be running late about an hour." She sighed into my chest. This was her first big show. She was super nervous. I knew she was going to be alright.

"Okay, I'll see you when you get there. I expect a big kiss when I see you." I kissed her head stroking her red hair. I looked into her eyes and kissed her nose and lips.

"You know I will. The pack is going to be there, so you'll be okay until I get there." I kissed her lips. She passionately kissed me back. I caressed her lower back as she ran her fingers through my hair.

"Hey, I have to eat in here people." We parted and looked at Shane leaning against the door. I smiled at her the took Morgan back into my arms.

"Please forgive me my dear Shane, it won't happen as long as we are under your roof." I sarcastically said to her. Morgana smiled and put her hands on my butt.

"If your feeling left out Shane, you can get in here too." I chuckled and kissed her head. 

"I better get going, sounds like the boss man needs me back at the office." I put on some clothes and got into my car. I remembered Zeus' words in the back of my head 'don't stray too far from each other'. I didn't want to leave her, but I knew she was safe. The packs got her back tonight, I'll be there in a few hours, and Helena wouldn't dare come near her. Honestly what could possibly go wrong?
