After The Smoke Clears

Ravenna : Two Months Later

The next two months were the most agonizing I have ever endured. The cops found Helena's body back her apartment. They said that it was a suicide. They found no cuts or that gaping hole that was through her heart. They found 5 different types of pills in her system. I and the rest of the office went to  her funeral.

Morgana still wouldn't wake up. She was very much alive and that made me happy. We were sure she had to be a wolf, but it wasn't positive until she opened her eyes.

I waited outside or at the side of her bed. I wanted to be the first person she saw when she woke up. She was in a comma, it wasn't a sure thing that she would wake up. I wasn't eating for days on end. Sometimes Shane would have to force me to leave her side and eat. I held Morgana's hand every second. I just wanted her company. As I sat outside playing with Ryan I heard someone call my name.

"Ravenna! Rae! She's awake! She's awake!" My eyes widen and I rush up the steps. I see Zeus holding her hand. She looks at me and sits up a little. I couldn't believe after two months I was gazing in her beautiful hazel eyes. I walked to the bed and fell to my knees. She just stared at me like her memory was slowly coming back to her.

I brushed back her red hair. I began to sob. She wiped away my tears and hugged me tight. I hugged her back caressing her back.

"I..I thought you were gone." I hugged her tighter. She looked back into my eyes. 

"I was gone. You brought me back again." She wiped away my tears again. I could see that she was a wolf now. Her eyes were slightly darker than they used to be. I kissed her passionately and she kissed me back. I looked at her again, she looked very confused. I took her face in my hands.

"What's wrong my love? What is it?" She tried to get her thoughts together.

"I don't understand. How am I alive? Helena, she drained me dry." I moved the cloth away form her left shoulder. The bite I gave her was still present. She looked at it running her fingers over it.

She smiled and tears rolled from her cheeks. "You marked me." I smiled at her. I kissed the scars and turned her neck to the side. Helena's bites were not visible any more. She looked back at me and kissed me.

"So am I a wolf now?" I nodded. she looked around and noticed where we were. She started to get out of the bed. I helped her to her feet. She was wobbly for a minute, but she  hung on to me while she tried to balance herself. I held her tight in my arms kissing her neck. I was so happy that she was alive and with me again. I helped her outside and the pack was astonished to see her up so quick.

She walked barefoot in the dirt holding on to my hand. She looked around adjusting her eyes to the light. Her senses were improved from being a wolf. She needed to learn how to control her senses and her temper; although she was already good at that she still needed to practice.

"Hey, you know what this means right?" She looked up at me confused. She shook her head no. I grinned at her and walked back inside. She wrapped her arms around me. I was stunned at first by her new strength. I easily broke her grip and picked her up. It felt good to do that with her again. I smiled.

"Your going to need someone to teach you how to control yourself." She smiled and kissed my lips so softly. I wrapped my arms around her tighter not wanting to let her go.

"Well then, you already know I'm a good student, so get to teaching." I kissed her lips and caressed her back.              

"I got a great idea honey."

"Oh, what's that?" She looked into my eyes going straight into my soul. She kissed my head and looked at me again.

"How bout we go home, make love, and talk about that baby we mentioned." I smile at her and happily nodded. I put her down and kissed her again.

"Let's go home Morgan." I let her go up the stairs I watched her go. I turned back around to face the outside.

"Rae?" I snapped my head back around.

"Yes, Morgana?" She ran down the stairs and jumped into my arms.

"I love you Ravenna." I sighed and hugged her tighter.

"I love you too Morgana." She kisses my lips and I melt. I pick her up and spin her around. I let her go after a little. I went up there with her and helped pack our things. we went back down stairs and hugged everyone good bye, but of course we would be back in like two weeks. We left the wolf house to go home to our own.

We made love for hours. Her body felt so amazing on mine. I couldn't tell where hers began and mine ended. She was so smooth, so tender and warm. After we were done I just held her body on mine. I stared into her eyes lost in their beauty. We fell asleep wrapped in each other's arms. And it was like that for the next few months until she had our first child. Our son, Daniel.

He was a wolf like us, and he looked like his beautiful mother. He had her hair and my eyes. Guess we got lucky. Zeus, so kindly donated to our family. Of course we would ask him. Zeus was someone we could trust. We trusted no one more than him. He was happy when he found out it was a boy.  He acts like he isn't  his father. That's okay with us but its good that he doesn't ignore him.  

I sometimes dreamed of Helena, she was just a distant memory from my past. I could still remember her beauty and her malice. She was evil, but in ways she was like me. She cunning, determined, brilliant, and knew exactly what she wanted. I shook my head thinking about her one night. I will remember her always, who knows, I might be with her in the next life. That's in the far future. Right now in this life, my future is very bright.
