Memories From A Not So Distant Past

I was dumfounded after that memorizing kiss. Helena's lips were so moist and tender; I nearly lost my mind at the sweet taste of her lips. I couldn't believe that I let her do that to me! How dare she kiss me knowing that I have a wife! And how dare I let her do it. Good God what have I done?

I paced back and forth for a while thinking about what she told me about... us. A thought crossed my mind that she was lying. I quickly crossed that theory out. All of the memories were real and so was she. On top of all of that bullshit she was and still is my mate. I was so confused and I needed to speak with someone that knew what I was going through. I walked to my phone and called up Morgan.

"Hey honey what's up?"

"Um, babe, I'm not going to be home till late so don't  wait up for me."

"Oh really, why you coming home late?"

I sighed and thought of a smart lie, "I'm meeting with one of my clients, and we won't be done negotiating for a while."

She sighed, "Okay don't be home too late baby. Bye." She hung up the phone and I heard someone walk past my door. I could hear them come down the hallway. It sounded like a woman. I saw the figure stop at my door. My eyes turned dark brown and my canines started to come out.

"Helena." I murmured under my breath. I was ready to tear her into pieces! I heard a low growl come from my gut. She softly knocked on the door then slid a note under the floor.

"See you later Ravenna, I'm heading home." My growl became really loud then I shut myself up. She walked away. My eyes went back to brown and I pushed my canines back. I panted for a second catching my breath.  I heard the elevator open then a few minutes later it closed again.

I carefully walked towards the note like it would explode or something. I slowly picked it up and opened it. A stench of perfume hit my nose. I coughed then held it out away from me.

My sweet,

I want you to know that I'm very sorry for kissing you out of nowhere. I couldn't control myself. Your lips just called me and it looked like you were a little curious, so I thought that was what you were wondering about. I wish to talk with you tonight meet me in the park under the oak tree. We need to talk about our future. Your wife's life depends on it.

I threw the note to the ground and stormed out of the office. I went to the only person I knew could help with my delicate condition.

"I need to see Zeus right now! It's an emergency!"  This stupid boy blocked my way and I shoved him. He growled at me in a low voice and his eyes turned dark. I felt all my wolf senses coming to life. Then a low bellowing voice made his eyes turn back to light green.

"Let her pass Pan! She is not a threat." Pan reluctantly backed off and let me go through.

  I walked over to Zeus and wrapped my arms around him. He could sense my fear and worry from my body. He nodded and motioned for me to come into the kitchen. I sat down and ran my hands through my brown hair. His emotionless black eyes studied me. He handed me a beer and sat down in front of me.

"Now tell me, what troubles my adoptive dear little sister?" I sighed and gulped down half of the bottle.

"My mate.... is back in my life." He looked stunned and looked at me again.

"Well you don't seem too happy about it what's wrong with him or is it her?" I looked up at him and sighed again.

"One she is my assistant. Two she is my mate from according to her  from fucking 401 years ago. Three she threatens to harm Morgan." I gulped the rest of the bottle down then laughed without any humor, "On top of that she is... A vam....vam...."

"What is it?" He reached out his hand and rubbed my hand. I leaned in closer and whispered in his ear. He looked backed at me in shock. I dropped my head and whimpered to myself.

"A vampire? Really, there hasn't been a vampire in this place since my granddad was the Alpha. How does she threaten you and Morgan?"

I shook my head and put my hands on my head, "I have no clue. That's why I have to meet her in the park tonight." Zeus smoothed back his black hair. He sighed with me and tried to figure out a way to help me out of this mess, but we both came to no solution.

"Zeus, is there a way for me to get rid of my mate?" He laughed and pulled me into his embrace.

"Some would wish it to be that easy for some. Especially for Pan's mate whoever that poor soul is." We both laughed and I nuzzled him. He patted my back and let me go.

"I'm going to meet her." I stood up and walked out of the kitchen. He followed me out and opened the door for me.

"Be careful Rae." He said in an concerned tone. I hugged him again and went on my way to talk with Helena.

I got a text  from Morgana asking me when I would be home. I just replied whenever I'm home. A harsh wind blew hard on me. I shivered and turned around and there she was. Her blue eyes interlocked with my brown eyes. Her black hair glittered in the moonlight. The wind blew her hair in her face.

"So, you got my note huh?" she tried to brush the strands of hair from my face. I stepped backed and her eyes started to gleam a light blue. I found myself in less than a second pinned up against the bark of the large oak. I gasped and tried to pry her hand off my shirt. I wouldn't scream, I got too much pride to look like a damsel in distress. She brushed back my hair and hers. Our bodies were almost touching and I felt like she was going to take me right here. Her lips outlined my jaw and my chin.

"What are you waiting for dammit! Bite me if that's what you want!" I growled.

She busted out laughing and she wiped a tear from her face. She buried her face in my neck. I tried to wiggle away but she had my pinned. I couldn't escape from her even with my wolf strength I couldn't get away.

"Oh my love, if I wanted to sink my teeth into your sweet skin I would have already, but I will save that for Morgana." My eyes flared with fire as I tried to get away.

"If you put one of your horrid hands on her I'll kill ya!" She looked at me and smirked.

"Let me tell you why you won't kill me, if you haven't noticed I am way stronger than you. You are one very weak wolf this time around. You won't kill me because I have you by the balls on your little secret identify. And you really  won't kill me when I tell you this, I'm giving you a chance to choose weather to give me all that I need."

She held my jaw and kissed my lips. She pulled away and wiped off her lips, "Or you can ignore me and not love me. If you do decide to do this, I'll turn your little bitch into a juicy juice box. You have until after work...Tomorrow." she licked my lips then kissed me again. Before I could blink she was gone. I rushed back home to my wife with tough decisions to make throughout the night. I believe it is time to tell Morgana the truth.
