Chapter 1

Perseus Jackson~

"Perseus Odysseus Jackson you are being sentenced to Tartarus!" Zeus yells, his voice echoing through the great Olympian hall.

Here I knelt. In the middle of the Pure white marble floor, being sentenced to Tartarus. What did I do??? Why are they doing this? Well. I don't know I guess I'm just the god's silly pawn. All used up. I guess they only needed me to win the wars for them. It made me laugh on the inside. How could they be so cruel?

I could hear Annabeth screaming at Zeus and the gods. Boy, she could cuss.

" Let him go! he didn't do anything wrong!" she yelled and started running towards me only to be grabbed by her mother Athena and held back. I looked at her, right in the eyes and she looked back. Her eyes were full of love and sadness towards me. Honestly, she looked like she was about to cry.

I had to look away because I couldn't bare to see her like that. About to cry and break down. Instead, I turned my attention to Zeus.

"Lord Zeus, I don't see what I've done wrong," I say to Zeus and he stares at me.

" You are being punished for the murder of ten!" he shouts at me and I freeze. What? Wait. What!?! How...I didn't do anything!?

"WHAT!?!?" I yell and everyone stops.

"There is evidence of it all over the camp," Poseidon says and looks at me ashamed. What was he ashamed about? Oh yeah, must be me. I didn't do anything.

"I swear I didn't do anything!" I say.

"HE DIDN'T DO ANYTHING!" I hear Annabeth shout. Of course, Zeus ignores her and my statements.

Then Poseidon walks over to me and puts a hand on my head. I see an ocean blue/green glowing aurora around his hand and I start to feel drained. He pulls it away.

"What did you just-" I start to say but I'm cut off by Poseidon.

"-You are no longer my son." He says and I kneel there shocked. "But I didn't-" I knew I probably looked like I was about to cry at the moment but I didn't care.

Zeus cut in"-But you chose this for yourself murderer and now you will pay the price." He says and holds out his hand ready to put me to my doom.

" Wait!" I hear Annabeth voice yell. "Let me say bye.." she asks with her voice trailing off at 'bye'

"Very well," Zeus says and lowers his hand and Athena lets her daughter go and she runs towards me. I open my arms and she runs into them and hugs me. "I love you." She whispers to me.

"I love you too," I say and my voice is shaky and sounds like I'm about to cry. She must have realized this because she pulls away and takes my face in her hands.

"Percy, don't cry..you will be okay..." She says sorta unconfident.

Then I kiss her

" I love you more than anything. Now go." I tell her and turn away from her.

Then I hear footsteps going away. I look at Zeus and he is raising his hand.

"Please, don't do this.." I plead. but it doesn't help.

"Perseus Odysseus Jackson I hereby sentence you to Tartarus!" Zeus yells and I feel the floor below me drop away. I furiously grab around for a ledge and I find one and grab on to it not too far from the top and start climbing back up. When I grab hold of the marble floor at the top I feel my fingers get smashed under a boot and my face is kicked. Then, once and for all, I fall into a black abyss
