Angel to Demon(Percy Jackson Fan fiction)

Chapter 11

 This torturous chapter will be written in Percy's point of view just to let you know.

I sat in my cell still in shock at what the heck happened. My emotions were spazzing out. I didn't know what to feel like as if someone would've JUST gotten their dream girl but then were thrown into a pit of lava, making them happy and scared, and a bunch of other stuff before they died.

Suddenly, the door slams open revealing that Zane guy and...Annabeth? (Not really XD it's Willow acting like Annabeth just to hurt Percy or something..IDK)

Zane had Annabeth by her wrists dragging her in forcefully. "Percy!" she yells and runs towards me breaking out of the hold. She runs over to me and hugs me tightly. I can't believe it..she's really here? "Annabeth..how are you here?" I say wishing I could hug her back but..yeah. Of course, I have to be chained to the wall. "I jumped. I couldn't stand it anymore, Percy...I missed you so much. I couldn't bare knowing you were down here all alone.." She says to me and I sigh. Wait, how did she know I was in Abyss?? "I missed you too, and how did you know I was in Abyss?" I ask her guessing it was one of those demigod dreams. "I found out in a dream..." She says. Yep. I was right.

She snuggles into me and hugs me tight. I smile lightly and kiss her forehead. Then I frown. "You shouldn't have come here...I don't want you getting hurt," I tell her and she looks up at me. "I made a deal...I'm so so so sorry Percy..." She says. Wait. What? "Why are you sorry? What plan did you make..?"I ask her worryingly.

"I-I I made the deal that if I sacrifice myself they would let you-" I cut her off "YOU WHAT!??!!" I say and get tears in my eyes. She looks down. "I'm sorry.." 

"Annabeth...why..? That would hurt me more than staying down here...just why?" I ask her as Zane un-cuffs my wrists from the wall. I hug her as soon as he's done. Then Zane walks out after saying, "I'll be back in a bit." Then he locks the door.

"I just...wanted you to be safe.." She says and looks up at me again. I kiss her, and we sit in silence hugging each other until the door is unlocked and opens up again. Abyss and Zane are standing in the doorway. Abyss is smiling cruelly and holding a knife. The knife is glowing looking like it has an enchantment on it. I push that to the side."Too bad I didn't swear on the Styx, Annie" He says, laughing and walks over. My grip tightens on her. "Don't you dare.." I warn and Abyss must not really give a sh!t because he grabs her anyway. She whimpers. 

It seems like everything freezes in time. Abyss has Annabeth pushed up against the wall with the knife against her throat grinning madly. Zane is standing there with an emotionless expression on his face watching the love of my life die and I just am sitting there staring in shock. 

"NO!" I yell and jump up to run over but its too late. The knife Abyss was holding sinks deep into Annabeth's neck. She falls to the ground when Abyss pulls it out. I stand there staring. ...she's...dead? "nono no nono!" I tackle Abyss and start punching him as hard as I can with tears running down my face. It seems to have no effect but I keep on punching. Someone grabs my arms and flings me back against the wall. Sure, It dazes me but not much. I curl into a ball and sob. She's dead, and I just sat there...

The hot tears run down my cheek stinging. "I hate you.." I whisper, you being Abyss.  He hears the door slam shut, a mad giggle or two, then footsteps walking away from the door.
