Chapter 5

I was a real idiot, wasn't I? I just pissed off a murderer. Ben slid his sword back into it's socket and sat on the edge of the bed. "Your a complete lunatic. I like you." He grinned.

I tried every thing to keep myself from blushing. "Get away from me." I grit my teeth and spat at him.

The nurse walked in and smiled her fake smile. "The doctor says you can go, Jenevee. You just need a parent or guardian to sign these." She handed a small stack of paper to me and left the room. Ben snatched them and signed his signature.

"Let's go." He gripped my hand and literally dragged me out of the bed. I yanked my arm back and scowled. "Where do you expect me to go with you?" I crossed my arms. "I don't know you Ben, I'm not letting a killer drag me to some random place!"

He grinned. "Alright. Then You don't get a choice anymore." He threw me over his shoulder, dropped off the forms, and walked out of the hospital. I punched his back and screamed.

"LET ME GO PSYCHO!" I yelled and tried wiggling out of his grip, but he was strong.

"Ben and Jen, it rhymes." he chuckled.

"My name is not Jen, dumbass."

"It could be a television show! Ben and Jen, crime fighting partners." He laughed out loud, almost dropping me.

I gripped his shirt. "Well, your the only criminal I know. So I get to fight you? Great."

"Hmph, you couldn't take me princess."

"Could too!"

I couldn't help it, I was competitive.

"Wanna bet on that?" I could practically hear his grin forming. We were now in a field near the woods. I gulped down. What if he killed me? Why hasn't he killed me yet?!

The second he let me down and got in position, I ran straight into the forest. I had no clue where to go, or who to go to. He knew where I lived, who I was, where I'd go. I was screwed. I heard quick footsteps behind me.

Close. Damn it he was fast. I dodged a few times when he lunged at me. I climbed up the window to my house and fell into my bedroom. My heart was beating faster and faster, knowing he was nod likely right outside of my bedroom.
