The world below the Bringers of Hope flash quickly by beneath them from the sheer speed of Vortex. It takes just a few minutes go travel to southern most part of Gaia. A massive island appears up ahead, out past the raging southern ocean. The Isle of Storms. Home to an unknown population of people, secluded from the rest of the world for so many years. A large city running along the coast stands tall. It's buildings appear to be made out of steel, with huge glass windows. Without the conflict of war, the Storm Mages have advanced their technology more than the other people of Gaia. The citizens of the large city below gather in the streets, staring up at the giant dragon flying overhead. The Bringers of Hope drop from Vortex's back to the city below. The dragon disappears with a gust of passing wind.

"Who are you? What brings a Wind Mage to our island?" One of the citizens asks.

"We are the Bringers of Hope," Drayk explains, "Chosen by-"

"Gaia," another citizen states.

"Yes," Roku smiles.

"Ryk told us you'd come soon. He said he felt a change in the air, almost like it felt different because of the fights with the deities of this planet," the first citizen jumps in before anyone else could speak, "My name is Tith. Allow me to take you to him, Bringers of Hope."

Tith walks up to the Bringers and gestures them to walk with him. The three of them smile while they start walking. The citizens part so they can walk through the crowd. After several minutes of walking, the four of them reach a small wooden house. A sign on the outside is only held by a single nail. Its words are so worn down they cannot be read. A small mat with the word welcome on it is underneath the doorway. Without knocking, Tith opens the door and walks in.

"Master Ryk!" Tith calls out into the home, "The Bringers of Hope are here!"

A child no older than twelve walks into the room. He has short and slicked back jet black hair. His facial expression is blank, and although he looks so young, his face shows great wisdom.

"My name is Ryk. I have been expecting you three," Ryk introduces himself, "Drayk, it's good to see you again."

"Again?" Drayk asks, "You're the second one to say that."

"Never mind that now. We have much to discuss," Ryk replies, "Do not let my appearance fool you, I am no child."

"I know," Roku jumps in, "Master Crito always spoke highly of you sir."

"Please, sit down," Ryk tells them.

The Bringers of Hope all gather and sit down simultaneously. Sammi cannot help but feel confused. She understands that Ryk is not a child, but her mind won't accept that. He has the most innocent face she had ever seen before. When she looks into his eyes though, she can sense centuries of torment.

"So. Lady Parocaav has awoken," Ryk sighs, "She will not be an easy foe. Parocaav has been around for.... well, no one knows how long the Goddess has been around, or even what her home world is."

"Home world?" Roku asks.

"You don't know of the legend of the notorious Ice Queen, do you?" Ryk ignores her question, asking his own, "Silly question. My apologies. That's why you're here."

"We don't really know why we were sent here sir. We were just advised to seek out your wisdom and advice," Sammi butts in.

"Well.... here," Ryk pauses as he grabs a book from a small bookshelf next to his chair, "Let me tell you about the legend of Parocaav."

~ In the beginning, Gaia encountered a barren wasteland of a planet. She was searching the universe to find a world she would 'heal'. When she came across this planet, she could sense that life had resided here at one point. Being the pure hearted soul she is, Gaia gave herself to the planet. This allowed the planet to flourish with life once again, as it had in its youth. Trees and other various life sprung to life across the globe. Small animals started to return to the barren land, but there was no sign of any intelligence.
