"I'm sorry M'lady.... Tao showed up before I could finish the Bringers of Hope off," Grimm sighs with regret.

"Tao? Of Ragnarok?!" Parocaav yells as she lowers to the ground, "What is 'he' doing in this time?"

"I'm not sure...."

"You better find out! I demand a better answer!"

"Of course Ma'am! After reporting here, I'm off to the Labyrinth of Time. Bahemyth had something to do with this...."

"Yes. I have a feeling you may be right. Watch yourself, he cannot be trusted."

"Understood. I will return."

Grimm disappears with a cloud of darkness that rises out of the ground underneath him. Lady Parocaav shakes her head and rises back up to continue to drain the planet. The entire northern lands are consumed, colorless and lifeless. The color has faded well into the Land of Fire and is spreading at a steady pace.

"Your power will be mine Gaia. I am already much stronger than I ever was, and I've just scratched the surface. I can see why you feared me acquiring it. Too bad you failed to stop me. I cannot be killed in this state, nor after I gain your full power!!" Parocaav shouts, her words echo throughout the colorless valley.

Meanwhile ~

A small shack off a small dirt road sits quietly by itself. The wood of the small building appears to be ancient, yet still lively. A shroud of darkness appears alongside the road, and Grimm emerges from it. He stares at the shack and a chill runs down his spine. Bahemyth and Grimm have always bumped heads, considering they had to do a lot of work together for millennia. Their last encounter wasn't that grand, when Grimm was seeking out the Forgotten Forest.

"Hold my anger. Nothing can defeat the Keeper of Time," Grimm tells himself as he walks up to the shack.

After a moment's pause, he knocks on the door. Several moments pass before the sound of unlocking locks can be heard from inside the shack. The door cracks open and Bahemyth sticks his face through the opening. His beard poking out at the bottom, resting on the floor.

"Grimm. You're right on time," Bahemyth jokes, "I've been expecting you, my old friend. Keep that scythe to yourself. We don't want a repeat from the last time I allowed you into my home."

Bahemyth opens the door wide enough for Grimm to enter. Grimm walks in and starts walking down the long spiral staircase. Bahemyth locks back up the door, then follows close behind the reaper. Once they reach the bottom, they walk into a small library. A fire is lit in the fireplace, giving the room a gentle glow. Next to a big cushy chair, sitting on a table, is a book simply labeled: Time. Bahemyth walks over and sits down in his chair. He picks up the book, marks his page, then sets it back down on the table. With a snap of his fingers, another chair appears across from his.

"Sit. We have much to discuss," Bahemyth states.

Grimm replies as he sits down, "Yes we do. Lady Parocaav herself has sent me here."

"Oh, I know Reaper. I am the seer of time. I know all that has happened or will ever happen. You would like to know why I have brought Tao of Ragnarok to this 'time'."

"That's right."

"I brought him back to the 'time' he belongs in. You see, I stole him from the 'present' to fight in the Ragnarok War in the 'past.' He belongs here as much as anyone."

"What do you mean he came from this time? Then it would be possible to prevent him from going back if I can stop him."

"You still don't understand, do you Grimm? 'Time' cannot be changed."
