"You have awakened your true powers," a familiar voice echoes throughout the area.

"Leon?" Roku says rather confused.

"Yes dear Roku. It's sweet of you to remember my voice," Leon speaks with a soft tone, "I'm sorry if you felt you could not trust me."

"No. I'm sorry I doubted you Master Leon," Roku sighs.

"Leon. Who's Tao?" Drayk interjects.

"He is my first pupil. I trained him during the Ragnarok Wars. He played a huge roll in ending the war. That's a story for another day though," Leon answers, "You can trust him with your lives, I assure you."

"Why is he here now?" Roku asks.

"Well. It was decided by Gaia that he return to his own time and help finish another war," Leon replies, "Oh, and be careful you two. Lady Samantha is going to resume the Elite Forces and restore them to their former power. Merii had tried, but was unsuccessful. Lady Samantha has the power of darkness and the very essence of Lord Xivaac. She can control them."

"Is that what happened to my sister? She's.... a dark goddess now?" Drayk sighs with a sad tone.

"Regretfully.... yes. I fear that her power will be far greater though. Xivaac was created by Lady Parocaav, so his power was his own. Lady Samantha had the power of a true Fire Mage beforehand," Leon explains to them as his voice starts to fade, "Now. I must be going. I just have one last thing to tell you. You must go to the far eastern coast to this island's capital, Hydrop. The answer you seek is there...."

"Hydrop, huh? Shall we go then?" Roku asks with a smile on her face.

"You're always so cheery," Drayk teases, "But yes. Leon narrowed down the whole island to just a single town and we're pressed for time. Tao should be returning soon."

Meanwhile ~

In the northernmost Lands of Fire, where the land has turned grey, is a large crowd of faceless soldiers. Hundreds of thousands of Elite Soldiers, gathered around a central point. There, in the center, stands Lady Samantha.

"My dear Elites! Your new Mistress of Darkness has arrived! I am here to lead us to victory! To finally rid this world of those who oppose us!" Lady Samantha calls out into the crowd, her voice echoing all around, "You will win this war in the name of our beloved goddess, Lady Parocaav! You will help her lead this world to its true destiny!"

The crowd cheers to her words. Each and every soldier is ready for the war to continue. A chance to fight in the name of the Goddess of Life.

"For the goddess!" The crowd roars.

Lady Samantha stares out into the crowd with a crooked smile on her face. The darkness has completely eaten away what was left of her soul. Her mind is one that's been lost to the darkness. The power of Lord Xivaac has consumed her to her core. Memories of Drayk no longer sadden her, they enrage her. He, as a Bringer of Hope, stands in her way. She cannot allow them to succeed in saving this world from the darkness.

Meanwhile ~

Drayk and Roku are gliding through the air, riding the winds. Roku's fiery red hair blows back, which mesmerize Drayk when he looks at her. Even though he feels sorrow and betrayal about what has happened with his kid sister, he can't help lose sight of his troubles when he looks at her. Her smile warms his heart every time he sees it. Drayk regains his focus and he looks out toward the east. Far out on the horizon, a large city comes into view.

"That must be it," Roku says, breaking the silence.

"Hydrop," Drayk states.

"So.... how will we know what we're looking for?"
