I don't care if my wounds hurt or if scratches lace my body, we've got to get a move on. I don't know how, but I can feel the darkness beginning to overcome the world. It's only a matter of time until the world is thrown into chaos. I don't know what lands, what seas, we have to cross, but we have to make sure we make it to the Ice Castle and restore order. I can't let anything happen to this world. I'll make sure that the future will be peaceful for those who want to live in peace. I don't care if I die, this world will change for the better.

I grip my blade tightly and stand up tall. The sun's rays peak through the trees and onto my face. It feels great and makes me feel relaxed and my mind feels cleansed as if a heavy burden is off my shoulders. I know that I've lost a lot of blood; I know that I look like I've been through Hell and back, but that doesn't matter. I killed the man that destroyed my home. I wish I could've gotten some answers out of him, but what's done is done and I can't undo what I've done. I do feel bad for Thoron however.

Fiore was the person who raised him. Me killing him made him feel like he lost a father of some sort. I know how he feels. Even if my father is still alive, I lost him. What if my father was different? Would I have met Thoron? Would I even became a swordswomen at all? A shudder runs down my spine at the thought. I wouldn't be able to stand life without holding a sword.

My knees buckle and I fall to the ground on one knee.

"Rias you can't go anywhere like this." Thoron rushes to my side, "You need to rest."

"No we need to move today."

"Rias I'd listen to your mate," Myriani says standing in front of me, "you need to rest. I've changed my mind about going with you to the city."

"What do you mean?" I look up at her, "You're not coming?"

"I've decided to come with you to the Ice Castle." She smiles brightly, "I want to go on an adventure with both of you. Rias, you've made me change my mind. I want to stay by your side and help you."

"That means a lot." I cough with blood coming out of my mouth, "And I think you're right. I need to heal up a day or two."

"I'll look after you Rias." Thoron says helping me stand up, "I won't let anything hurt you like this again, I promise you that."

"Thank you Thoron," I say resting my head on his chest, "I-I love you."

"I love you too." He says kissing my forehead, "Now come on let's get you patched up."

I know it's a short chapter, but things are beginning to calm down and the journey is about to begin. I hope you all enjoy the story so far! :D
