Stacy’s POV -

me and my mom stepped off the airplane and headed for the door to our car waiting for us. Honestly, I had to admit, the scenery was beautiful. The palm trees swaying in the silent slow breeze, the gorgeous flowers filling the fresh air with an amazing aroma. So far… I like it here. We got in the car and made small talk.

“How far away are we from the new house?” I asked curiously. My mom wouldn’t tell me where it was and wouldn’t even let me see it. She wanted it to be a surprise.

“about 20 minutes. Trust me; it’s worth the ride.” She smiled at me then looked back to the rode.

20 minutes later--

We parked the car in the driveway and I was shocked! The house was… HUGE. It looked like a rich person house! I mean; my mom has a really good job and a lot of money; but this house is just… oh my. I look around at the neighborhood and 2 thoughts come to mind, one; it’s WAY nicer than my last one! Two; The neighborhood looks like a rich…snobby, neighborhood. Like in the movies. Well, I guess I’ll find out later!

I run to the door and open it to finally explore  the beautiful scenery. I run all around and everything is just so perfect. I run upstairs and there is 4 bedrooms. I pick out mine, which was pretty decent size but had a huge walk in closet and a beautiful bathroom. I already love this place.

“Stacy! Do you plan on helping with the boxes?” I hear my mom shout from down stairs. I giggle and run down stairs. “Do you like it?” she askes with a smile.

“I love it…” I say in awe while taking another glance before going to get boxes.

Nialls POV -

I came home from my decent day at school and I saw the car parked in the street at the house those people were moving into. I saw a girl walk out to the car grabbing boxes. She looked about 17 which is only a year younger than me and so that means, she’ll be going to my school. She doesn’t look so mean… she actually looks kinda sweet. And not being a creep but she was actually very cute.

I got snapped out of my thought when I saw her drop a box. It looked like she needed a bit of help so I walked over there.

“Need help?” I ask nicely. Her cheeks began to turn a light pink and may I say; it was so cute.

“ I – Uh – sure…” she stuttered while picking the box back up and handing it to me. I walked in the house and sat the box where the other ones were stacked neatly. I walked back out and she was closing the trunk and locking it.

“So, I’m Niall and I live right there.” I smiled while pointing to the house across the street.

Stacys POV -

“So, I’m Niall and I live right there.” He smiled while pointing. I didn’t what to say, but when did I ever? Of course my stupid shy personality would get into the way of me actually making a friend. And he was cute!

“oh, uhm…I live uh- here.” I said while pointing to the house we were obvouisly standing in front of. He chuckled and I felt so stupid. Why are you so stupid Stacy! Of course you live here! He helped you with the boxes!!!

“Oh, I would’ve never guessed.” He chuckled again and I knew I was blushing because I could feel the heat rise to my cheeks. I giggled but it was awkward, then again… anything I did was awkward.

“So, what school are you going to?” He asked. I would’ve expected him to think I was weird by now and stop talking to me, but he didn’t… and I was glad.

“Rosewood, It’s like a couple streets away.” I said. He smiled and looked at me. “I go there!” he said excitedly. Wow, do I actually have a friend?

“that’s cool” I smiled, and so did he. We just stood there for a couple more minutes and then he finally spoke.

“Well, I guess I’ll see you tomorrow? At school? Maybe we can walk together.” He flashed me a smile and I simply nodded while blushing furiously. Stacy, why do you embarrass yourself? With that; we both walked off and into our houses.

this move might not be so bad after all.
