Day 8 'Not so Funny Moments'

I woke up to feeling like someone was staring at me, It was then that I remembered last night.

My legs are tangled with both the blankets and Riley's legs, I could feel Riley's arm hugging me to his chest. Their was that odd feeling that my so called pillow had a heart beat, I lifted my head a little to look at Riley's face. His bright eyes meet mine, I don't know why but my heart sped up a beat.

"Well good morning sleepy," His voice sound husky.

I jumped out of my skin when he spoke, making me fall off the bed onto the floor. I lay on the floor trying to recover from what just happen, Riley's head appeared over the side of the bed.

"I didn't mean to scare you, are you ok?"

Totally ignoring the question and sprung to my feet, "I need to freshen up why don't you go and find some non-bloody closes.

He nodded, before he could move I when to the bathroom and closed the door.

I leaned my head back against the door for a moment, how could I been such a idiotic as to fall asleep with him. Hope I didn't give him the wrong idea, I don't just sleep with people for no reason.

I heard the dorm door closes before stripping down and getting in the shower, I let very hot water run down my back.

I could feel the pull of Riley's emotions', I want to scream.

I washed my hair and body before getting out and rapping a towel around my self, Shoot!

I had forgotten my closes in my bedroom, I opened the door and peeked out into my room to see if Riley came back in. The room felt empty and seemed empty so I walked over to my dresser.

Then pulling out a hoody, jeans and undergarments I changed.

After just barely pulling my hoody on, Riley opens the door. "Fire you have to see this!" He runs across my room and pulls the blinds up, I was shocked by what laid outside the window.

White mold, also known as snow. It's wet, pretty, and flippen cold crap! I hate it, pretty as it is with the sun hitting the ice just right. Pretty much a cold nightmare, but someone had other thoughts.

Riley looked at the snow like it was the best thing in the world, he must have been dropped at birth for that to be a good thing.

"Don't you love it? I mean snow fights, hot chocolate, Christmas, songs, and all the merry other stuff." Riley said looking at me like he was a little kid getting a present.

"No," I walked out the door to go find food, I may have lie about the hot chocolate but everything else can go melt off.

Not getting to far from the dorm before Riley catches up with me.

"How can't you like Christmas?" He said well walking besides me.

"Because it's a bitter time, how can you like freezing all the time so you can just listen to Christmas song?" What's so great about anything wintertime.

He walked quietly besides me thinking, then spoke, "what is the happiest Christmas you ever had?"

Easy answer, "never."

We never said another word the hole way to the cafeteria,  it was thought full moment.

When I got their Palma ran up to me like the happiest person in the world, "So guess what?"

"Their is no way in the world I can guess the right answer," I stated blankly.

She laughed and looked at someone behind me before saying, "Hello Riley."
