A/N: sorry for that lack of updates but I have finals for the next 2 weeks. Also I'm writing this on my phone so sorry for spelling and grammar.

"Jules!" my mom called. I rolled over and let Alex wrap his arms around me. I was too tired for this. "Your dad here."

I sprang up. An impromptu visit from my dad meant trouble. It wasnt anyone's birthday or Christmas. I couldnt possibly guess why he was here.

A long time ago my parents got a divorce. Neither of them cheated or anything. As far as I knew it was just that they were too young. They had me when my mom had just turned eighteen.

"Okay!" I called up to them amd started to get up.

"Where are you going?" A sleepy Alex mumbled to me and grabbed my hand.

"My dad's here."

"Eric?" Alex jumped up excitedly.

I rolled my eyes. Alex had always loved my dad. It was almost ridiculous how closer they were. He was possibly more heart broken than I was when he left.

Alex and I climbed our way up the stairs and ran into my dad. I squeezed my dad from the side and he wrapped me up in his arms.

"I missed you, baby girl," he kissed the top of my head.

"I miss you too," I smiled into his chest. If I had my way I might've lived with my dad. He was a total liberal, but not a hippy. He was just... him. The guy who bought me condoms for Christmas and told me if I was going to do it use them- much to my mom's displeasure, but I think she's glad someone did it.

We let go and he brought Alex into his other arm. "Hey, kiddo."

Alex rolled his eyes excitedly, "Hey, Mr. Gaskin."

"How's it going. Haven't seen the two of you in a while. Still best friends?"

"Yes," Alex and I answered at the same time. I giggled and he smiled at me.

"What's up then?" My dad let go of us and went to sit at the counter. Alex and I took the stools facing him.

I shrugged, "Senior year."

My dad made a pouty face, "I know, my babies growing up."

i laughed when he let go. "Sure am."

My phone rang in my pocket. I checked the caller ID; Unkown.

"I'll be right back, okay?" I announced and walked out of my room.

I flipped open my phone and pressed it to my ear, "Hello?"

"Jules?" a beautiful British accent came out so smoothly I nearly melted.

"Yes... uh, who's this?" I asked awkwardly compare to him. I must've sounded like an idiot. Not that I really should've care because I didn't know this guy. He knew me however and that should've scared me, but it didn't.

"Sorry, this is Henry," He paused, but I didn't respond, "Ally's friend."

"Oh," I slapped my forehead, "Henry, sorry. Nice to finally talk to you."

He laughed, "You could say that. Ally's been chatting off my ear about you."

I frowned, "Oh gosh, I hope she didn't bore you."

"Far from it," He laughed again and it sounded magically. Who was Henry? Prince charming or something? "In fact I called to ask you out."

"That was blunt," I accidently let slip out.

"So was that," he informed me.

I bit my lip and thought about Alex. He hadn't asked me out, he flirted with other girls, and what I told Ally was true. I need to get over this dumb crush on him. It was obvious that our relationship was going to be just physical.

"Okay," I nodded despite the fact that he couldn't see me.

"So I'll pick you up Saturday?" He asked confidently.

"Okay," I grinned, "See you then."

Alex's POV

Eric looked at me and cracked a smile, "You like her."

"What?" I blushed, "No! Jules is my best friend."

"No rule that says you can't love your best friend," he shrugged.

"Well I don't," I mumbled.

"Sure, so what are you going to do about it," he continued.

"I'm not-."

"I'm not going to believe you if you say you don't like her," he insisted.

I groaned, "Fine, I like her."

"They you got to get her," he gave me a cheeky grin.

I narrowed my eyes at him. "You realize you're trying to set me up with your daughter."

He picked at the grapes in the bowl on the counter and popped one in his mouth. He sallowed and grinned. "Well better you than some other guy with an STD... You don't have an STD, do you?"

"No."

"Good, otherwise I'd have to scold you. It's a parent's job."

"You're not much of a parent."

He rolled his eyes, "I get it, I'm laid back."

I sighed, "What do you suggested I do with Jules."

"Use a condom."

"I meant what do I do to get her as my girlfriend," I elaborated.

"Okay," he sighed like I was as slow as a snail, "I've got a plan."

"A plan?"

"Yes, a plan. Are you going to question everything?" he asked.

"No, sorry. Go on. Okay, come here."

I walked to the other side of him and he started to whisper in my hair. I smirked. This is bound to work.
