Chapter 19: Having the Day Together

Yuki's pov

As I kept petting Kisshu's head I heard footsteps up the stairs. I bolted upward knocking him back.

"What is it?"

"I think my brother is home."

"And?"

"He will kill you if he saw our position."

"He can't kill me."

"If you're a human he can."

Kisshu let out a huff and folded his arms pouting.

"No need to pout."

"I was very comfy. Plus I don't know when I'll get another chance to snuggle your chest again."

I face palmed my forehead feeling myself heat up. I heard the door open and I shook my head.

"Yuki we're home."

"Welcome home Ichiru, Yui."

Ichiru put his coat up on the rack and headed into the kitchen.

'He hasn't noticed Kisshu yet..that won't last long though.'

"Onee-san! Why is there a boy here?!"

'Like I said..wouldn't last.'

"A boy?!"

Ichiru stormed out of the kitchen and over to us.

"You were here alone with a boy?! What did you do to her? I'll rip your head off." He growled in anger holding Kisshu up by the front of his shirt.

"Ichiru put him down!"

"Yeah calm down. All we were doing was cuddling."

"Cuddling is not allowed! Any sort of touching is not allowed!"

"Ichiru I am not a child. I am allowed to like boys. Try and trust me a little bit more."

"It's not you that I don't trust it's the men that try to take advantage of you."

"Not all men are like that."

"Of course not. I'm not."

"Doesn't mean any guy I am with is either."

"Can you put me down?" Kisshu asked.

Ichiru dropped him.

"Don't touch her."

"She's a young woman. She can make her own choices."

"I am only looking out for her."

"That's a good things, but try and trust her a bit more."

"I don't trust you is the thing."

"Well I haven't done anything to her where you shouldn't trust me."

"Yet."

"Ichiru, by smothering me like this and being so overprotective I'm not gonna want to be home much. That is how some girls end up rebellious and in bad situations. I really like him and this is why I can't bring him home. Not being able to trust you to not act like this hurts but you've proved that I just can't. If I need help or if a man does do something to me that I don't approve of I will come to you first." I explained.

Ichiru rubbed the back of his neck and looked away to the right slightly.

"Alright. I understand. You're both right you're a grown woman and can make your own choices. I will always be protective of you. Just make sure to come to me when something happens. I'll always be here. By the way, if you are going to be coming here I need to know your name." He said.
