As I arrived in my sister's pack I was confronted by two guards. "Alpha Rafu." They paused to bow at the presence of and alpha, "Welcome, what brings you here today and what brings you alone?"
"Where is Luna?"
"Out on a hunt, she will return shortly."
"Fine, I shall wait in your pack camp until her return." I walked past the guards and into the heart of the Silvermoon Pack's camp. I sat down by the Warrior's den and soon found my eyelids growing heavy and soon I was sleeping. I awoke to the sound of a familiar voice saying my name and shaking me with her paw.
"Wake up Rafu! Wake up!"
"Luna! So glad to see you again! I have missed you!" I tried my best to hide my sadness, but I knew she could sense it.
"What's wrong Rafu? And don't lie to me."
"It's kind of a long story..." And so I told her everything up to the point I'm standing there and explaining my story to her.
"Oh, Rafu I'm so sorry! I wish none of that ever happened to you! You must be so shocked. You can stay here as long as you want."
"Thanks Luna, I know I can always count on you!" Giving her a quick nuzzle she lead me to my new den. I got my own because I was an alpha and was also being counted as an "outcast" or a "outside wolf coming into the pack". This really annoyed me but then I saw the most beautiful, handsome, prettiest wolf ever. He was a striking gray with silver highlights and white around his muzzle. I just had to find out his name.
"Welcome, Alpha Rafu. We will still address you as an alpha for you were once an alpha and you sort of are still one. I heard that you had lost some puppies so we would be honored if you could take care of some of our five to six month old pups, if that's okay. Well, are you interested?"
I immediately responded, "Why certainly, I'd love to take care of some puppies. By the way, are you alpha?" Before he could say anything Luna spoke
"He's my alpha, if that's what you're asking."
"Very nice to meet you, Quill? Was it, and r am I mistaken?" I looked at both of them, a shocked expression flew onto both of their faces.
"No, I'm Smoke, and I do believe we've met before. I'm Luna's mate. I think I was the wolf who Apple was always sneaking away to be with. And you found him and I sharing some 'shine and chase me away."
"So you're gay? I have nothing against that, just asking."
"No, of course not! I'm Apple's brother. Where is that stupid fur all anyway?" I wasted no time answering.
"He's dead." I quickly said it, I wasn't quite sure he was dead though, a wolf can still survive a bite to the neck.
"Oh, I'm so sorry. That must be so hard for you."
I had to act fast, I put on my best sad expression and action! "Yeah, things have been so hard since he left me."
"That's not what yo-" I cut Luna off.
"He just left me one day and I haven't seen him since."
" I'm sorry Rafu, he was such an asshole to begin with, I sorry he even met you." I stood, shocked this sentence, I turned on my heels and just walked away, back to my den. He may be an asshole, but at least he was a nice one. I looked into my den for the first time and found a small pile of venison and what looked like some Caribou. I just now noticed how hungry I was and crowed down on the meat. After I was finished I piled what bones I found in a corner for winter. Cause winters in Alaska are fierce. And I had to make sure I had food when the snow got too deep and the cold was unbearable. But we Manage to survive here with the climate so we learned to adapt.
