I studied the pups, watching, waiting, then Cherry sprung onto her brother. "Pinned ya!"
"I wasn't ready, try again!"
"Pinned ya again!" Cherry said, just about bursting with happiness. "When I go out on my own, I'm gonna be the best alpha from here to Alaska!"
"Not if I have anything to say about it!" And with that River jumped on his sister, making her yelp with surprise.
"No fair!" Cherry shouted at her brother.
"Come on pups, time to head back to camp." I called softly, "Apple is waiting for us and if we don't get back soon he'll wonder where we are." I arrived at the camp, pups in tow. But Apple was nowhere to be seen. I sniffed around camp for his scent, just catching scent of another wolf. Big, male, and a pack wolf. "Cherry, River, go down to the creek, hide in the bushes, GO NOW!" My pups ran off towards the SawTooh River, leaving me to find Apple. As I tracked I started to remember this peticular scent, it smelled like, like, my father. I picked up the pace and soon broke out into a clearing. A big grayishwhite lump was at one end of the meadow. I got closer and soon realized something, it was my father. I neared even closer I could see him better now, he smelled of fear, Apple, and blood, and he wasn't moving. " He is dead, he is really dead!" I ran this over in my head, " My father is dead, he smells of Apple, Apple killed him! Apple of all wolves. Of all wolves Apple Killed my father!" I ran this around my head a few times and decided what I needed to do.
I got the pups and we walked into the camp. When I arrived I saw Apple pacing in the middle of the meadow. ( camp located in small meadow) "Rafu, where have you been! I've been looking all over for you!"
" Apple, I never want to see your sorry little face ever again! Get out of camp and NEVER COME BACK!" I screamed at Apple.
" For what reason, my beloved?" Apple asked in that I- know-did-something-wrong-that-you-don't-know-about face that male wolves love to use.
"You Murdered my father!" I spat furiously.
"What! I did nothing of the sort!" Apple said a slight high pitch to his voice, indicating he was lying.
" Yes you did! I found his body myself! He smelled like you, no other wolf but you! He was dead and you murdered him! I said barely able to speak. Tears welled in my eyes.
"Oh, sure I did, just like Scar murdered your parents!
"Everyone knows that my parents FAKED their death to get away from Scar. Even Scar knows about it now!" I sighed and looked at apple, the fire still burning in my eyes.
Apple hurrumphed and sat down.
"Try me."
I circled around Apple. Eventually, I intimidated him enough and he stood up and faced me. We began circling each other. Apple swiped at me, I dodged but managed to get a cut on my leg. I was fed up with this. I lunged at Apple, he tried to dodge but we tripped. A ghastly move, I landed on top of him, making sure my underbelly was far away from his claws.
"Leave, NOW!" I was panting hard and so was he. Put I still needed to assert my Alphaness. I leaned into him until he was whimpering like a newborn pup. He nodded and I stepped off him. He was rooted in place for a minute, before gathering himself and standing.
"One day Rafu, I will come across you one day, happy as can be, and mark my words, I will ruin it. You shall rule the day you abandoned me."
