Chapter 16

3rd Person POV

It was about 8 hours till they arrived in Canberra, they had a lot of time to kill but nothing to say to each other. They sat around the quinjet in silence keeping busy.

Steve cleaned his Shield, it had scratches on it but was kept in good shape. Steve wouldn't have it any other way, he and his shield fought wars and nothing could separate them.

Natasha was cleaning her guns and knives since they had not been used in a while. Thor tossing Mjolnir up in the air and catching it, Tony was designing a new suit on his tablet and Bruce was listening to classical music.
Tony gathered the team around a table which layed all different gadgets and weapons. "I have prepared new gear for you all, first up Natasha" Tony said while passing new widow bites, Natasha examined them closely.
"A higher voltage and also can shoot small electric volts at a target that is up too 20 meters away and a new motorbike that has more gadgets, here is a manual for it, which I am sure you will just ignore" he continued passing a small manual book to Natasha, Natasha was impressed.

"Captain for you, a new motorbike like Natasha's and a new upgraded magnetizing glove" Tony handed Steve a manual and the magnetizing glove. They were all impressed by Tony's new gear, "Since I have am still understanding Asgardian tech and most of the stuff I have tried to create for you Thor have backfired, so next time Buddy" Tony said disappointedly, but Thor appreciated him trying.

"Bruce, now we know how you have terrible issues with clothes and how you seem to go through every pair of pants you own, I have created a pair of pants that adapt to you and the Hulk. So when you change into the Hulk these don't wrip just stretch." Tony said as he passed a pair of purple pants. "Thanks Tony" he said as he looked at his new pants.

After a long and boring flight, they soon touched down at the Canberra Military Base, where it was being overrun by agents from an unknown organization. A big military facility in the middle of a big field with tall trees.

Once they stepped off the plane, they were being fired at, the thrill of being on a mission gave them more strength and they fought as a team. Steve and Natasha rode their bikes as Natasha fired at targets darting around trees and making her way to the facility.

Near her, Steve was on his bike, using his shield as a boomerang. Tony and Thor flew above using their tech and lightning to hit targets. Soon they reached the base and took out agents and soon took back control of the base. While Tony and Thor rounded up the agents and finding answers as to whom they worked for, Natasha and Steve checked to field to find anymore agents.

Natasha passed trees in search for more agents. She saw an agent fleeing but she catched up to him and rode past him only to bloke him from goig any further. He ran away from her but once again she caught up to him and she lept off her bike and onto the agent he fell to the ground and Natasha rolled away. The agent was still on the ground and he reached for his gun but Natasha ran towards him   kicked his gun out of his hand. 

The agent got up in a fighting position and Natsha started punching as he tried to block but he couldn't keep up and he stumbled away badly injured. Natasha was enjoying it, she walked up to him and puched him in the stomach and he fell to the ground she blocked him from getting up by placing herself on top of him and she punched him harder and harder. She shouted as her fists were pounding against the agents face and he was knocked out but Natasha stopped. 

"Natasha!" A male voice said, but she didn't listen, "Natasha!" he said again she looked up and saw Steve's face looking at her in horror. Steve looked into her eyes and saw anger and uncontrollable rage which he had never seen in Natasha.

She stopped when she saw his face and she got up and grabbed her gun and shot the agent in the head. Natasha walked past Steve and he grabbed her arm and she turned her head in anger, "leave me alone Rogers" she said trying to be as calm as possible. "Talk to me Nat, what is going on?" asked Steve in a concerned tone. 

I literally had a random thought since basically Coulson was the reason the Avengers became a team, he died to pull them together.  And since Clint is dead, his death has pulled them apart as team.
