“James! Glad you decided to jump on the bandwagon!” Sam laughed as he helped me with the last box, I finally decided to be like the rest of the band and move to the states. I still have no idea what I am doing so I decided to move in with Sam and his girlfriend, it was a tad bit awkward but he was my best friend and my band mate so I guess we can get over it.
“Yeah, well it kind of sucks being the only one having to pay for a plane ticket to the states almost every day” I laughed as I started to put some of my clothes away, it had been a long week with just moving some of my stuff in. I was lucky enough to have Sam actually let me move in with him and his girl; I was just going to have to deal with them all the time.
“We are going to the movies tonight, wanna come?” Sam asked as he handed me the last of my clothes,
“I think I might just go to the bar” I sighed, I honestly didn’t want to go out with them tonight. Everyone in the band basically had a girlfriend besides me, well Ben has a wife but he really doesn’t count anymore. I basically partied by myself a lot since a lot of them rather not in case they ended up doing something stupid, so I usually spent my nights just drinking at the bar.
“Suit yourself” Sam shrugged his shoulders and walked out of my room. I sat down on my bed and scrolled through my phone, most of the people I knew here were on tour or busy. The rest of my contact list were friends from home, it’s going to suck not really knowing anyone here. I quickly got ready, and started my long walk to the bar taking my time smoking my cigarette. I was trying to avoid as many fans as I possibly could at 11 at night, but sometimes it was impossible. After taking pictures with a few I finally got into the bar, I sat myself down furthest away from people.
“What can I get for you, handsome?” The bartender asked,
“Just a beer” I sighed, drinking alone wasn’t as fun as drinking with friends but tonight seemed pretty dead. I wasn’t even half-way done with my beer, when this gorgeous girl sat next to me; she had long curly black hair that stopped at the small of her back, she was wearing the sexiest black dress I have ever seen and I couldn't help but stare at her.
“Here take a picture it will last longer” She smiled at me, I smiled back before rubbing my neck and actually getting my phone out; why the hell not right?
“If you insist!” I laughed as we moved closer together for a picture; she was more than willing to take a picture which made this ten times as good.
“So whats your name sweetheart?” I laughed a little; she has to be kidding right? She honestly doesn’t know who I am.
“You don’t know who I am?” I scoffed; she tiled her head to the side before smiling at me.
“Oh so we have a rockstar here?” I leaned back in my chair and looked at her; the bartender already had her drink by her side.
“Here that Sophie, we have a rockstar here.” She turned to the bartender grabbing her drink. The girl behind the counter laughed before walking away to tend to the other customers.
“My name is James” I sighed after a while, I guess it was kind of nice that she didn’t know who I was.
“Name’s Sierra” She smiled at me, she leaned back in her chair and turned to look at me better.
“Nice accent, you just visiting or?” She was filled with questions but I guess it was kind of nice, I mean she was cool about everything.
“I just moved in with my band mate” I rubbed my face before leaning my elbows on the bar.
“and you’re not out clubbing?!” She seemed so shocked; I shrugged my shoulders before drinking the last of my beer.
“As a local around here, I think it’s my job to show you the ropes around here” She said to me, I looked over at her and raised an eyebrow at her.
