CHAPTER SEVEN: The Raiders

Claw and the other Zerglings were all bowing to Kerrigan when suddenly a voice spoke in their heads.
"Look to the sky!"
Claw and the other Zerglings did. The voice came from a Mutalisk who along with thirty other Mutalisks were chasing a Terran Battlecruiser that flying towards the Hive Cluster. The twenty Hydralisks that Claw and the other Zerglings had left behind at the ambush site had now arrived. They stared up at the Battlecruiser in the sky. As the Battlecruiser neared the Hive Cluster it released a large number of drop pods which fell though the air to land at an open area not far from the creep. At seeing the drop pods flying though the air, Claw let out a battle screech before charging towards the landing site with all the other Zerg. The creature Kerrigan run with them, although a bit unsteady on her feet. Claw wondered what was so special about her. The drop pods landed and Terran Marines came out of them, guns blazing. Several Zerglings and a couple Hydralisks went down to the Marines gunfire. The Hydralisks returned fire, their armour piercing spines flying though the air to claim the lives of a few Marines. The Terran had a few Firebats with them, so when the first Zerglings had almost reached the Marines, they ran into an impressive wall of fire instead. Claw was closer to the back of the Zerglings, knowing how dangerous it was to attack a Firebat head he prepared to sprint to the side to try and flank them. Suddenly Kerrigan let out a shout as she raised her hands into the air and as she did, the Terran Firebats rose into the air as well! The Zerglings igored the Firebats struggling in the air and ran under them to attack the Marines. The Marines were all dressed in blue armour except for one who appeared to be leading them, he was dressed in black armour. Claw had ripped open the Breastplate armour of one of the Marines and was just sinking his teeth into the soft flesh beneath when he heard the Marine in black armour say something.
"Mother of God, Kerrigan what have they done to you!"
Claw wondered how this Terran knew Kerrigan.
"Was she once something else?" He thought.

The Terrans were soon overwhelmed, Claw and the other Zerglings were chasing down the few Marines left. Claw leapt up and landed on top the black Marine, knocking him to the ground. Claw was about to stab his spines though the Marines head when Kerrigan spoke to him.
"Minion, hold!"
Claw stopped,he growled at Kerrigan but was unable to disobey her commands. As Kerrigan approached the Marine raised his helmet visor.
"Sarah, is that you?" He asked.
Kerrigan looked at him.
"To a certain extent, I'm far greater then I once was Jim. You shouldn't have come here."
"But the dreams, I dreamed that you were still alive, that somehow you were calling to me!"
Kerrigan sighed.
"I was! When I was in the crysalis I instinctively reached out to you and Arcturus, apparently Arcturus sent Duke here to reclaim me. But that was then Jim, I'm one of the Zerg now and I like what I am! You can't imagine how this feels."
"So now what, you gonna kill me darling?" Jim asked.
"That is certainly within my power but your not a threat to me Jim. Be smart, leave now and never seek to confront the Zerg again!"
Claw let out a screech in Jim's face, blood dripping from his mouth.
Jim stared at him before replying to Kerrigan.
"Doesn't look like I have much chose!"

Kerrigan ordered the Zerg to let Jim and the few men he had left go. As the Terrans climbed into a Dropship that come from the Battlecruiser for them Claw look up at kerrigan.
"She's an interesting leader." He thought.
