The Cat's Meow (Bailey)

Star City 6:00pm

I walk to the mountain with Robin. My tail wags gracefully. I hum remembering the way Cameron's eyes sparkle every time I make him laugh. He's the greatest boyfriend ever but then... Never mind.
Robin's communicator starts going off. "Robin there's no mission today. You can go home or something."
"Yeah okay Batman." Robin says and hangs up. "So no mission." he says looking up at me.
"So... What do we do now?" I ask him. He shrugs. Great I can spend more time with Cameron. I smile and turn around, but he grabs my arm before I can leave.
I look at him confused. "Ba- Catness uh do you want to, I don't know hang with me in Star City or something?"
"Sure why not?" we start walking back towards the mountain. He gets one of the motorcycles and I grab a purple one.
We race to Star City and sure enough we arrive. We slow down because of the city limits. We ride side by side. I look over at him here and there but, he just looks straight ahead. "Hey Robin?"
"Yeah?"
"I'm getting tired."
"Do you want to, um get ice cream. Its kinda hot, I mean the day of course."
"Yes please!" I pull over. He follows me. I pull of my helmet and adjust my mask. I sniff the air. Ice cream should be two buildings over. Robin and I get off and walk to the ice cream stand.
After we order ice cream we sit down. "You know I've never been a cat person. I've always thought they were fat and lazy." My mouth drops open. I grab his stupid little strawberry ice cream and smash it on his face. It slowly falls and I start laughing.
"And that's for calling me fat and lazy." he grabs a napkin and wipes his face clean. Oh no he reaches for my ice cream. My eyes widen and I sprint out of there.
"Catness come back here!" he yells and starts running after me.
"Not a chance birdy. Use your wings!"
"Catness!" he yells and I start laughing.
I look over to see he doesn't have the ice cream in his hand anymore, so I start slowing down. He catches up and throws his arms around me. I scream just before falling onto the soft grass.
He starts laughing and gets off rolling over beside me. We stare at the sky for a while then I turn to face him. "Robin, what's your secret identity?" I ask.
"I, I can't tell you." he says. His smile falls.
"Why don't you trust me?" I ask. He faces me.
"I don't want you to get hurt." he says.
"What? What do you mean." I ask my ears shooting up.
"I mean, if you were to know my secret identity they would torture it out of you." he says.
"Who?" I ask.
He shrugs, "any villains."
"But you know my identity right?" I ask him. He nods. "Then at least tell me, do we know each other out of the super world?"
