Happy Harbor beach 5:45pm

I left Mount Justice since there was no mission. I decided to not take of my new suit. Partly because maybe somebody could have been watching and partly because I really like the shimmering lightning on my cheek.
Now I'm painting the beach on a white canvas. I'm really happy and surprised that there's hardly any people. Most of them are enjoying the sun's rays.
I love how the brush strokes the canvas and creates a perfect shade of blue water. Its like when you color and when you finish it seems that it came to life. "Miss hello? Miss?" I look down to see a little girl. Her hair is a light brown that is tightly sewn into a braid that cascades down her back. Her hazel eyes catch the glint of the sun. In her little hands is a picture of my dad when he was young and in the form of a superhero. Kid Flash. Oh and a pen. "Are you a superhero?" her little voice is chirping.
"Yes indeed." I reply with a proud smile.
"I don't know what indeed means but I've always wanted to meet a superhero. Look this one is my favorite but he died." she points to the picture and continues. "I'm sure you've met him before right."
A lump forms in my throat. I actually didn't meet my dad he died before he knew my mom was with child. I manage a smile, "no I haven't, but I've heard great things about him."
"Yes ind-oo-d he was the greatest."
"Um it's pronounced indeed." I say. She starts giggling.
"Do you mind giving me an autograph?" she puts the pen in my hand. I crouch down.
"Of course I don't mind. By the way my name is Light Struck. What's yours?" I ask her while signing the picture.
"Oh my name's-"
"Hanna. Don't be bothering this girl." a boy about my age says. His hair is the same shade of brown as Hanna's and his eyes are slightly darker.
"But Jason I was getting an autograph." she pleads. I stand up strait feeling awkward to be crouched down.
"It's fine." I turn to her, "I hope I get to see you again Hanna." she smiles and skips back to her family.
"Um nice to meet you my name is Jason." he says reaching a hand out to me. His voice has a trace of a British accent.
"Uh Light Struck." I say shaking his hand.
"How peculiar to have such name. Tell me why do you have a tattoo on your cheek?" he asks with his accent a bit heaver now.
"Well I'm a superhero see that's not my real name." I say.
"Well I guess it's not everyday that you meet a superhero...or a prince." my eyes widen and I swoop into a courtesy. He laughs and I stand straight again. "No need for that. Your painting is magnificent."
"I wouldn't exactly say magnificent. In fact I'm not even finished." I say and pick up my paint brush.
"Oh you must do a painting of my family. I will pay you. What do you say?" he asks.
"No need for payment. I will paint your family regardless." I say.
"Are you serious?" he looks at me with disbelief.
"Very." a grab a fresh canvas and set the other down on the sand. He smiles brightly and gathers his family.
