The moon lit the ground in front of the two men as they walked in silence, the only sound was the crunching of the grass under their feet. Levi was enjoying the silence but he knew it wouldn't last long.
"So what happened?" Levi glanced over at the priest.
"You're actually interested?" Nick shrugged. "Tch. Why?"
"It seems like it would be an interesting story." Levi rolled his eyes.
"Well then..." He sighed and looked up at the stars. "I didn't want to assume anything. We were both drunk after all." Nick nodded as they continued walking. "I woke up with the flowers in my pillow again, but Erwin was gone. He didn't have the day off like I did. I decided that I would let him make a move if what happened last night was what he wanted."
"What about you?" Levi glanced at Nick.
"What do you mean?"
"What did you want?" Levi sighed and stood still, shoving his hands in his pockets.
"Honestly I was in complete denial of my feelings for a long time. I had been hurt and I never wanted to open up to anyone again in order to avoid that pain. But I think deep down I really did harbor feelings for him that were awakened that night." Nick nodded.
"So...?" Levi let out a short barking laugh.
"You're persistent, you know that?" Nick smailed.
"Yeah, I can be stubborn. After all, your friend tried to pitch me off the wall."
"Yeah, that's Hange for you. But anyway. Erwin had just been promoted to the rank of Commander after Kieth Shadis resigned..."

Levi plodded down the hallway lazily, shuffling through paperwork for their new commander. It was going to take some getting used to. Levi sighed and knocked on the door. He really wanted some tea...
"Come in." He shoved through the door and saluted.
"I brought some paperwork commander." Erwin rilled his eyes.
"Drop the pleasantries Levi." Levi nodded and handed Erwin the papers, but Erwin stood and grabbed Levi's hand in an iron grip.
"Erwin?" Levi tried to pull away but Erwin's grip held fast.
"Why have you been ignoring me?" Levi blinked.
"Ignoring you? I haven't-"
"Did the other night mean nothing to you?" Understanding crossed Levi's features.
"No I just... I didn't want to assume anything because you were drunk." Erwin's grip loosened and a smile tugged at his lips.
"So we were waiting for each other to make a move." He whispered and collided their lips together. Levi gasped in surprise and Erwin slipped his tongue into Levi's exposed mouth. Levi tensed up but couldn't help but melt. The only thing keeping him on his feet was the firm grip he had on Erwin's desk.
Erwin pulled away, both if them out if breath. Levi cursed himself for being so defenseless around this man. He glanced back up at Erwin's smiling face and felt a smile tugging at his lips before both of them burst into laughter.
"All this time," Erwin laughed. "And you were waiting for me."
"We are hopeless." Levi chuckled, kneeling to pick up the papers that had fallen on the floor. When he stood to give Erwin back the papers, he found the commander sitting at his desk, a broad smile on his lips.
"What's wrong with you?" Erwin shrugged and took the papers, kissing Levi's hand gently. Levi tried to fight the redness from his cheeks to no avail. What was this man doing to him?
"I've never seen you blush." Erwin teased. Levi ripped his hand away and turned, rubbing his cheeks.
"Yeah, me either." Levi mumbled. "Is that all?"
"No." Levi felt Erwin's arms circle around him and a gentle kiss on his cheek.
"What are you doing?" Levi growled, turning in Erwin's arms.
"Hugging you." Levi frowned.
"Why?"
"Well..." Erwin shrugged. "Because I want to." Levi rolled his eyes and wrapped his arms around the larger man's waist for a moment.
"Okay. There." He said, pushing away and slipping out the door.
