Phantom Hand

Sorry it's been so long! I've had some complications this past year. I will do my best to update more frequently. I hope you enjoy this even though it's short  >.<

Let me just point out how many times I wanted to write HANDS rather than HAND. *sigh* the struggle is real.

*************************************

Erwin was reading over paperwork and Levi could tell he was upset and stressed.

"Hey Erwin?" The commander gave a grunt. "How about you hold off on the paperwork for today?" Erwin looked up at the captain.

"No, I need to know everything that happened."

"Hange is taking care of it for now. Please try to rest." Erwin sighed and handed Levi the paperwork and quill pin before settling into bed. Levi glanced down and looked at the scribbled handwriting and sighed. Erwin would have to relearn how to write with his left hand... In fact, he was going to have to relearn a lot. Levi set the papers aside and watched Erwin drift off to sleep.

Levi jerked awake. "Erwin?" The man was thrashing in bed and muttering. "Erwin?" Levi stood and grabbed Erwin's shoulders. "Erwin wake up!" Erwin grabbed Levi's arm.

"Levi? Levi is that you?" Levi could see tears glistening on Erwin's cheeks.

"Yeah Erwin, it's me."

"Oh my gosh." Erwin pulled Levi to him and hugged him.

"Erwin are you okay?" Levi asked as he wrapped his arms around the larger man.

"It was just a nightmare... I'm alive..." Erwin pulled levi onto his lap to straddle him and seized his lips. Levi allowed the commander to ravish his mouth for a few moments before he pulled away when Erwin's hand slipped under his shirt.

"Erwin slow down-"

"No!" Erwin pulled the smaller man to him again. "Please Levi. I need to know that we are both here and that everything is okay. Please..." Levi ran his fingers through Erwin's hair.

"Alright." He whispered. "Okay." He pulled Erwin away from him and kissed him. "Give me a moment." He climbed off of Erwin and locked the door; he didn't want pastor Nick walking in on them... Levi turned and climbed back on Erwin, allowing him to run his hand under his shirt. Levi removedthe white cloth shirt and kissed Erwin gently. Erwin's hand caressed Levi's skin, as if savoring it, and his eyes drank in every inch of the smaller man.

"You've gotten thinner." He whispered, concern evident on his face. Levi chuckled.

"So have you." Levi gently nibbled on Erwin's neck. "I guess we'll have to fix that." Erwin sighed in contentment and traced Levi's spine all the way down his back before playing with the waist of his pants. Levi smiled against Erwin's lips.

"Don't tease." He mumbled and Erwin chuckled, dragging his hand to Levi's front and fumbling with the button.

"Dammit." Erwin pulled away and glanced down at his hand. Levi reached down to help but Erwin gently smacked his hand away. "No," he whispered. "I have to do this alone. I have to learn." Levi ran his fingers through Erwin's hair as the older man fumbled with the button before finally releasing it. "There. See? I'm not so useless after all." He chuckled as he helped Levi out of his pants.

"I wouldn't go that far." Levi teased as he tossed the clothes to the floor.

"Can it old man." Erwin growled, biting into Levi's neck.

"Y-your older than me." Levi managed as Erwin's lips trained kisses down his chest. "Take your underwear off." He growled and Erwin chuckled.

"I thought I was useless." Levi rolled his eyes and pulled back the blanket before sliding Erwin's underwear off. Erwin smirked at the smaller man as Levi bit his lip.

"It's been a while." Levi hissed when he caught sight of Erwin's expression. "But I'll be fine." Erwin smiled and sized Levi's lips again.

"Go slow." Erwin whispered and Levi positioned himself. "I want to savor it." Levi smirked to cover his wince as he slid down Erwin's length. Erwin inhaled sharply at the feeling. "God I've missed you." He whispered, pulling Levi into a tight embrace. They stayed like that for a while, neither one moving, until Erwin released Levi and the raven haired man began moving.

They had to stifle their moans as Levi rode Erwin in fear that someone may hear them - the barracks had thin walls. Levi watched, biting back tears, as Erwin's right shoulder moved in a desperate attempt to touch Levi with a hand that no longer existed.

When they were done, Erwin pulled Levi beside him and Levi fell asleep with his head resting on Erwin's arm and his hand holding the phantom fingers of a hand he had known so well.
