That's Cali

-Year later-

"That all ya got?" Jessie teased, hitting his stick to mine. I smiled pushing his weapon over making it out of his grasp, leaving him with no weapon.

"Damn. 7 against 1?" I laughted throwing him mine and picking his up. Shortly attacking, poking him stomach then up his face. He groans, "OK. I'm done!" He says, holding his bleeding nose."

I laughted, "Don't try me." He nodded, "I can't seem to get your point. I trained you to well, I can't even beat you now! Talk about embarrassment!" He laughs, "Lets see what Ma is cookin! I'm starving"

Your always starving, I thought, but I just laughted and walked with him to the house.

"Ready for supper-" she gasp, "What happened to your nose!" Grabbing a napkin she examines it, "She's amazing Casey. I can't beat her anymore." He wrapped his arm around my shoulders, "She's incredible. She'll kick anyone's ass."

"Jessie!" She hissed, I laughed picking plate up. "She's older its OK!"

"She's still young."

"She's not a normal teenager I mean look at her. She is a strong independent young adult, unlike those other trouble makers. Speaking of, Cali called."

"What she say?" Casey said hanging him a plate, "She wants to know how everything is doing. See if we having plans this Friday."

"Family Friday?"

"Yep."

We all ate and I helped out leftover away and wash the dishes. "Do you know your parents are very proud of you." I stopped and looked over at her, she quickly changed topic."Goin to bed sweets?" I nodded my head, "alright. Good night child, sleep well!" She walks off to her room, I walk to mine. She was right, my family would be proud of me, but now I dont have one anymore.

Or at least I thought.

-Friday-

Cali came home giving us her regular bear hugs. "Ready for a competition?" She said holding us board games, she knew I loved a competition so I smiled.

"Try me."

Every game of course I won but one because they cheated, but I was OK with that. It had Cali feel better, and Jessie was just a sore loser.

We played Uno, Guess, and others I don't even know. We ate amazing ribs, laughted, and even watched a movie. Cali always wanted to watch Insideout, so we did and it was amazing. One of my favorite movies. It's one of those things where it takes your heart and mind, turning and twisting it a way to feel good or bad.

"I think this is the best family night ever! Thank you for being my family, Anastasia!!" Cali said tackling me with hugs and kisses. She was too much sometimes. But now that I thought about it, this is a family.

Cali cut off my thoughts, "Woo! Looks like your growing! Wonder how big your going to be!" She yelled grasping my chest. My face burned red, I pushed her off.

"Cali!" Hissed Casey, "Its ok! We're sisters." She looked at me, "Right?"

She reminded me as a little annoying sibling, hard to believe she was 18, that's five years older than me! I smiled, "That's right."

She squeaked, jumped, and hugged me again.

Sisters... I'll let that soak in.

"Alright daughters, pie time!"

"Woo!" Screeched Cali running to the kitchen, Casey right behind her. "Ready?" Jessie said holding his hand out, just like he did couple years ago. It reminds me how happy I am and how much I was so blessed and thankful. I took his hand and we walk to the kitchen.

"Let's pray."

"Dear lord, thank you for this family and the things and memories you have given us. Thanks for the food and animals you provided for us here in past, present, and future. Thank you for this wonderful pie we will eat today. Amen-" I cut her off,

"Thank you for my family both past and present. Amen."

"Amen." Say said unison. We ate my favorite pumpkin pie in silence, but with smiles.
