School?

Alarm went off at five, threatening my dreams. Groaning, just press the snooze and roll over. "Oh no you don't!" Sudden light blinded me making me squint and cover them with the blanket. "Come on sweetheart, its the first time your going back to school! You should be excited!" I just glare at her, "Alright, just get up. I made biskets and gravy."

Hiding my smile, for biskets and gravy where one of my favorites and Cassie knew that. She walked out with a smirk, closing the door. Quickly, get dressed in black pants with a white belt. Then a purple long sleeve covered in a jacket. I was borrowing Cali's leather fluffy black warm jacket. It was gorgeous and matched with anything. It was also long and covered little of my legs.

My hair was fine down, just brushed leaving natural curls. Makeup was light and natural. Cali made sure she taught me all she knew. I wasn't really into it so I just did some mascara and little eyeliner on the bottom. In the mirror, I was proud of my natural looks. In the mirror, I looked a lot like my mom, but my blue bright eyes were from my father.

Downstairs, Jessie was already filling us his plate with four biskets and drowning them in the gravy. Before he sat down, he kisses Cassie a kiss on the cheek and thanked her for the meal. Thoughts of yesterday came back as well with the little jealousy.

We ate in silence which was weird for this family. I wasn't complaining for I was not in a very good mood. I was dreading school, I never liked it. I've been home schooled since I was here, but now I'm going to a new school. I may know some people from work, but it was father away, so probably will have people from the other town.

Looking up I see Cassie giving me a mother look. She then looked at Jessie who was still shoving his face. He wasn't paying attention I guess so she kicked him under the table and glared. It was a tell-her glare. Jessie was looking confused, not getting whatever she was hinting. Cassie was frustrated, it was very clear. This reminded me of the movie, inside out. I could hear and see the emotions talking in their head.

"Ok" putting my napkin down, "What's going on?"

"Your father would like to talk to you about something." She intensified.

"Oh ya!" He coughed and put on his serious face. "Anastasia. We need to talk about you becoming a women and to be a women means you will have more freedom, but also responsibilities." He stopped and looked at Cassie. She nodded for him to continue, but that was all he worked on. "Wasn't that it? I didn't good didn't I?" He smiled. Cassie face bumped herself as I burst into laughter. He was probably working on that for days, trying to say the right thing for Cassie.

"Your no help." She giggled, "Yea but you love me." He winked, she playfully slapped him.

"Sense you got your license and a well payed job. You have a lot on your plate, now you are going to school. We may not always be able to give you a ride so Jessie and I were talking and well..." She held up a set of keys.

Excitement and happiness was an overstatement I was elated and I didn't even see the car yet. Running outside not caring of the cold I see a old classic 1965 Ford Falcon, red. I loved old cars. Cassie came out with my jacket and school bag.

Eyes got blurry probably from my tears. "Thank you." I mumbled, hugging her. Jessie then came out with open arms, so singing I hugged him too. "When it stops snowing and warms down, you can drive your bike instead." He turns me around showing me a new motorcycle.

After all the thank yous and goodbyes, I dive to school feeling ten times better. Thankfully the car was upgraded and now had a new radio and even a GPS built into it. It has all I needed. At the high school, the students were everywhere. They where about five tables separating students from the beginning of their last name, first letter. For example, letter K-M. Quickly, I step in my line and wait to find my first class.

English, 4-101

Trying not to make any attention, I search for the class by myself. Sadly, sense this was a small town everyone knew each other. From school, they knew the other town kids. I was once again the odd one out. They already had their friends from middle school and probably elementary. I knew some from work, but there were so many new faces, it scared me.

No way I will make friends...

The tables was set in two's. That means I will most likely have a partner. I was starting to get very nervous.

"Hey, your in my class!" Familiar face popped up. Aiden plopped next to me with a grin. I was completely stunned. I didn't know he was a senior nor how old he was. He looked so much older, but I guess that's what hormones do to you.

He was laughing at my facial expression. "How old you think I am?" "I-I don't know. Um." I studied his face and truly studied. He really did look young. I just assumed he was old because he went for coffee and adults do that.

"Why do you always go?" He knew I was talking about La Belle. He was there every morning.

"Maybe I just like coffee." Just giving him a confused look, he laughed. "Maybe I just like seeing you every morning."

What?! Was he flirting with me!

Rest of the class period was figuring out the scedrel and getting to know the rules. The first week is always get to know people and rules. Memorizing the classes and getting used to the new year. Sense I have been home schooled last two years with Jessie, all this was pretty new to me.
Aiden ignored my unsettled awkwardness. He tried to tell me ways of the school and the people. He told me of the school slut, including the players. Every school must have one of course. Slut was a girl name, Victoria. She had short, dark brown but hint or red hair. She had, of course, great curves. Aiden said she acted very fake, as in the way she talks, sounds like it's just acting. The players were all over the school. Aiden gave me only two, Blake and Austin. Both were jockeys and brothers. The school followed them when it came to any sport or school spirit.

"Just don't fall in love when you see them." He warned for the tenth time. They must have been really attractive if people were hitting on them than Aiden. Aiden was great looking. I didn't understand why he didn't have anyone. He told me of his friends of girls, but not anyone he likes. Good ones fall in hands of players.

We will see about that. Over my dead body!

Bell rings

"Got to go. I will see you at band, I have to go to my locker first. Or do you want to walk with me?" It was true, we had next class together. As well at fifth period, math. "I'll walk with you."

There were so many eyes on us. My heartbeat was getting faster and faster. Aiden wrapped his arm around my waist, "calm down." He soothed. Somehow, I got calm.

"Thanks." I whispered, now breathing. "Your welcome. Don't worry about people. Just be you, they will love you." I gave a small smile, nodding. He stopped in front of his locker and paused before opening. "What?" I asked. Embarrassed, he whispered, " Don't judge me."

"Ok." With that everything was exposed. It wasn't bad at all, it was neat. What was he worried about? His pictures with his friends were on the door. Looked like he had a great childhood. There was one with four Boys. Little one that looked like Mat was being carried by the three underneath. "Brothers?"

"Yea..." He paused and pointed sadly to little boy calling it was him. Ones underneath on left was Blake and on very right, Austin.

That's what he was afraid of.

Showing him I didn't care I shrugged, "Not your fault they act like dicks." Suddenly I'm surprised by his sudden hug. I jumped back surprised by his sudden movements. Just like I burned him, he flinched back. "Sorry."

"Who is that in the middle?" I said pointing the brother in the middle. Aiden rolled his eyes, "Oh." Aiden shrugged his shoulder, "Even if you try to get near him he will but you away."

Raised my eyebrow, "Aiden what you talking about? I'm not going to date anyone... I'm asking his name."

"My brother Corey."
