Work was exactly what I needed.
"Morning Anastasia, you're in early." Helda said pulling on her apron.
"I miss it." I replied, and it was true. I needed a distraction. I am one of those people whom can't stand still, or stay at home for more than a day without doing something.
Helda gave me a hug as the bell rang. "Be right with you!"
"We will talk about what's in your head at break."
"How did you-"
"Are you kidding?" Helda laughed, "I know everything."
"Helda, if you knew what was in my head... you would run."
Made my way over to Aiden's spot, "Good morning, you!" Nudged him in the shoulder when I realized, it was not Aiden.
"Oh. I'm sorry! I thought you were-."
"Aiden." Corey finished.
That's when our eyes met, and not only the people but the world disappeared.
