I reach into my pocket and pull out the ring I have for her. It is an opal gem with a white gold setting. I hear her gasp and she just stares at me. I start to get nervous when she doesn't reply. After a few minutes of silence she jumps on me and wraps her arms around my neck. "Yes, I will marry you!!" I stand up with her and place the ring on her finger. "I love you." I tell her. She smiles at me. "I love you too." I pull her in for a kiss, It is gentle yet passionate. We pull back and I stare into her grey eyes. Who know how long we stare into each others eyes. The only thing that brings us to reality is when we hear a guard calling for us. "Come on we better get back to the ball." Tris says. I nod and we walk to where the guard is. "Queen Tris, King Four we were sent to find you by your parents." "Alright we will go to them. Now go enjoy the ball, it's for everyone." Tris tells him. "Thank you my Queen. May you live long." He walks off and we go find Andrew and Natalie.
Tris POV
We walk into the ballroom and find them talking to the king and queen of Amity. "Yes Father Mother?" I ask. "You need to make a speech to everyone." Father tells me. I nod and go to walk off but Mother stops me by grabbing my hand. She looks at my ring finger and lets out a small squeal. I laugh and Father looks at us like we are crazy. "Andrew he proposed to her!!" Mother squeals. Father smalls and pulls me into a hug. I hear him sniggle and I pull back to see tears in his eyes. "Don't cry." "I can't help it my little girl is growing up to fast. You became queen and got engaged in the same day." I wipe the tear that runs down his face. "I'll always be your little girls though." I pull him in for another hug. When he pulls back he walks over to Tobias and pulls him in for a man hug. Laugh and walk over to Zeke and Uriah. "He soon to be bros." They look up from their food and smile at me. "Hey soon to be little sis." Zeke says. "Guess what your brother gave me." They give me a questioning look then look to my left hand. They smile and pull me into a bone crushing hug. "Okay can't B-Brea-th."I say hitting their arms. They let go while chuckling, I just roll my eyes and make my way to the thrones so I can make a speech. "I want to thank everyone for coming today. It is an honor to be your Queen, and I will do everything in my power to make sure everyone is treated equal. If ever something is wrong, always know the castle doors are open. Thank you again for allowing me to be your Queen." I walk off the stage but when I go to walk over to Tobias I trip over something and fall onto the table full of food. Several servants rush over but I just wave them off. I stand up and see Lauren laughing with her group of 'friends'. I roll my eyes then smile. I walk over to Mother and Father. "Tris are you okay?" Tobias asks. "Yes, I'm fine. I'm just going to go change. Will you come help me Mother I don't want to bother my Ladies, it's their day off." She nods and we walk to my room. "Will you pick out a dress while I clean the sticky off me?" She nods and head to my closet while I clean up. She knocks on the bathroom door and hands me the dress. It is nude colored with black lace covering it. I slip it on and walk out to get Mother to tie to back. "Thank you mother." I walk over to my vanity and brush my hair out into natural curls, after my hair is brush I put my crown back on. I stand up and Mother smile. "Your going to do amazing things as Queen." She tells me. "Thank you." We make our way back downstairs. As I descend down the grand stair case in the ball room I see everyone turn towards me. I blush and make my way over to Tobias. "You look beautiful." "Thank you." "Do you know what you tripped over?" I shrug. "I'm pretty sure I know what it was, but I don' want to make a big deal out of it." "Okay, if that's what you want." We dance for a few minutes till I hear Lauren talking. "I don't know why I came here. This kingdom is a dump. Everyone is so poor here, and don't get me stared on King Andrew and Queen Natalie. If they weren't so worried about their selves then maybe the kingdom would have more jobs and money." He talking about my parents is the last straw. I storm over to her and get in her face. "You do NOT come into MY kingdom and talk about it and you defiantly do NOT talk about my parents. They are some of the most selfless people I have ever met. The reason we aren't the richest kingdom is because we would rather willingly help other kingdom and there people then be paid for helping them." She just sneers. "I bet your kingdom does get paid but you keep it because your just a little spoiled PRINCESS. Not fit to be a Queen. I don't see why your people think you'll be a good Queen. You are a spoiled, no curve, flat chested, ugly, wanna be Queen." "I May be ugly, flat chested, and have no curves, but I can guarantee you I am anything but spoiled. You want to know the reason my people look up to me is. I treat them with respect, like they are all royalty. Have you noticed that at every ball everyone in the kingdom is there. I've been to several balls at you castle no one from your kingdom is there. In fact I see them working like dogs. So before you come to my kingdom and yell about how I am not fit to run a kingdom, take a look at how you run your kingdom. Now I am going to kindly ask you to leave my kingdom I will also inform you parents that you are no longer allowed in the Kingdom of Abnegation." "You can't tell me what to do." "Actually I can, and if you do not leave I will have my guards escort you to your kingdom, by force." She lets out a huff and storms off. I turn around and see everyone staring at me. They let out a cheer and I smile. I walk over to Tobias and he puts his arm around me. "I told you, you would do great things. You've already stood up for this kingdom in more ways than you can imagine." Mother tells me. Just then out of the corner of my eye I see Olivia come running over and jump into Fathers arms. Caleb also comes running over behind her. We all stand together and look out at everyone. We are a strong family and together we will protect this kingdom.
