2 weeks later
Tris POV
I sit up and stretch while looking to my right expecting Tobias to be there. But instead I see the empty sheets. That's when I remember today I am getting married and Tobias stayed with Zeke and Uriah for the night. Just then I hear a knock and the girls plus Mother come in. "Morning." I say. "Hey Tris are you ready to get dressed?" I nod and get out of bed before heading to sit at my vanity. "Here eat this while Christina does your hair." Mother tells me. She hands me a small muffin and I eat on it while Chris does my hair.
"And done." Chris yells. She pulls back from my hair and I see that the bottom layer is down while the top layer is in a twisted braid. "Next I'm going to do your make up. Shauna and Mar can you paint her nails that silver over there?" They nod and I close my eyes while the work on me. I hear them talking to each other and some thing Mar says catches my attention. "His parents don't approve of me so I was going to leave him but then he said he would rather give he would give up his title then break up with me." "Wow really. What's going to end up happening?" I ask. "I don't know. Hopefully it won't come to that." "I won't let it happen, I can promise you that." "But, how. King Marcus doesn't think I am good enough for Uriah and that Shauna isn't good enough for Zeke because we are just some servant girls." "After this marriage our 2 kingdoms will be united, which means that I will have some form of control over Dauntless. I will make Marcus see that just because some one doesn't have a title, doesn't mean they are not royalty." "Thank you Tris." I open my eyes and smile at her. In the mirror I see Mother standing there with a proud smile on her face. "Alright I'm done with your make up and your nails are done lets get you in your dress." Chris squeals. I stand up and walk back into my room where Mar and Shauna are holding up a beautiful ball gown that had gems all over it. (Picture up top) I step into the dress and pull it up, when the back it tied I put my necklace on and turn towards mother. I see tears in her eyes and pull her into a hug. "Don't cry because then I'll start to cry which will make Chris yell at me." I chuckle. She pulls back and wipes her face. "Your right no tears this is a happy day." I smile at her and she gets my crown off of my vanity. She puts it on my head and I stand tall. "Come on lets go. It's starting in a few minutes." Shauna tells me. I nod and we make our way to the gazebo that is in the middle of our normal garden. Tobias and I talked about having it in the secret garden but we decided it was our special place. I stand behind some blocker and wait for my turn. First Mother, Caleb, and Olivia walk down, then Chris and Will, Next Shauna and Zeke, and right before me Marlene and Uriah. Finally I hear my cue. I link arms with Father and we slowly make our way down the isle. My eyes meet Tobias and it takes everything in my body to not go running down the isle at him. He smiles at me and I smile back. We get to the end of the isle and he takes my hands in his.
"Today we are here not only to witness the union on two people but also two Kingdoms. The kingdom of Abnegation and the kingdom of Dauntless. If there is any one who does not agree with this marriage speak now or forever hold your peace." I look around at everybody and they are just smiling. "Very well King Four would you like to do your vows first?" He nods and looks into my eyes. "Tris every since I first layed my eyes on you I knew that you were special. There are some many things I love about you. I could name them all but we would be here a while so I'll just some it up. I love everything about you. They way your eyes light up when you are helping some one or how intense you are when standing up for your kingdom. But my favorite thing of all is the way you treat everyone, like they are royalty, and I couldn't ask for some one better to serve by my side. I love you Beatrice Edith Prior." He brings he hand up to my face and wipes away the tears that are streaming down my face. "Queen Tris you turn." "F-." "Use my real name it's good to hear it." He tells me. "Okay. Tobias Mason Eaton when we first meet I remember thinking only about my kingdom. That it was up to me. to make sure that everyone be happy. But not long after meeting you, you helped me see that I can think about myself every so often and still have my kingdom be happy. You told me that being me was what made my kingdom happy. And you were right. Thank you for showing me that I could be me and everything would be okay. I love you." He smile at me and we look back towards the preacher. "Well then by the power invested in me I pronounce you husband and wife. You may kiss your bride." I jump into Tobias' arms and he slowly kisses me. Just then I here the sound of wedding bells going off. I take Tobias' hand and we go running to the ball room.
