What About Love [Austin Mahone/Jake Miller/Janoskians FF]

Chapter 2

When the song ended I let out a rather loud sigh and took a sip of the water bottle mami placed infront of me. Watching my mom and Rocco deliberate on whether I was going to be signed was making me grow with anticipation. It took them about 10 minutes or so to decide my fate as a singer or to do something else with my life and those 10 minutes felt like 10 years! Once they seemed to finally come to an agreement, both mami and Rocco turned to face me and I set my water bottle down in fron of me.  

Rocco began to speak,"Well Ms.Yasman, first off let me say that was a very compelling song choice and outstanding audition you performed for the three of us but you won me over immediately. I can't speak for Austin and your mother but I thought you deserve to be apart of Chase/Universal Records family and I would be honored to sign you. But tell me one thing, why did you choose that song?"

I took a deep breath because I was still excited that I was being signed,"Actually I chose Day Without Your Love because it was an ex-boyfriends who wrote it, Jake Miller, and it related to me. Two years ago, before I moved here to Miami, I fell in love with one of my best friends. He was my everything and more. Here I am now standing right in front of him pouring my heart out and thinking how I should just give up on love."

Austin picked his head up,"Wait a sec, you love me?"

My eyes had tears building up,"Y-Yes but I now know I was an iddiot to ever think you could feel the same."

He got up out of his seat and fast-walked over to me. Austin wiped away a few stray tears that escaped and smiled his famous smile at me. I half-heartedly laughed at him and smiled back.

"Your not an iddiot Jessica Ashley Yasman, never in a million years could you be. I do love you too, ever since the second grade I've loved you." Austin said, placing a kiss on my forehead.

I hugged him tightly as butterflies fluttered in my stomach. Holding him like this made me feel like I was back at his place two years ago but like old times. This moment was one I would cherish everyday, I got my best friend back and more. Austin broke the hug after hearing someone clear their throat.

"Well you know what this means mi nina? Welcome to Univeral Records! You are officially signed! Congratulations baby! You did it!" My mom cheered, giving me a big hug.

I hugged her back,"Gracies mami, thank you. For everything. I'm sorry for being stupid and mad about the move and all that other stuff."

She rubbed my back,"Shh. Thats all in the past." My mom released me and smiled,"Now go take Austin and have a day at the beach or something."

I nodded and grabbed Austins hand,"Adios Mami! See ya later!"

We ran out to my car since mami has her company car already here and got inside. I squealed and looked at Austin. We both laughed at my silliness and drove off to my place to get myself something  for the beach and when we got there both my brother Paul and Analee were there watching the Marlins game on the big screen. As I sat my keys down on the dinning room table both of their heads turned to me and I saw Pauls face and felt worried.

"Jessica what the hell is he doing here?" Paul spat, referring to Austin.

Analee slapped him and scoffed,"Don't be rude you big lug, they obviously made up right?"

I nodded,"Yeah leelee we did.We're going to the beach wanna come along?"

"Sure! I'll go call Jake -" I cut her off. What the hell does Jake have to do with hanging out?!

"Analee what does Jake have to do with - never mind, invite him I don't care. C'mon Austin lets go up to my room."

Once we got to my room, I ran into my walk-in closet and began packing up for the beach and most likely the mall. I picked out a cute little bikini (see right), some high-waist shorts, a Cool Story Bro crop top and some wedges. When I came out with my bag, Austin was on my labtop skyping ALEX! I ran over to the computer, sat on Austin and waved like a fangirl!

"A L E X ! Gaaaah I miss you! I'm telling papi to send you out since its summer vacation!" I semi-screamed.

Alex laughed, covering his mouth with his hands,"Yes! And Austin tells me someone is officially a singer? Even though you were already famous to us."

I lightly bushed,"Thanks and yep! Well I hate to say goodbye but we are hitting up the beach now so text us love!"

I hit end and jumped off Austins lap laughing. Before I left my room, I put on just a little bit of lip gloss and saw Austin checking me out. It was nice to have him back but I was wondering as what though? I know he's my best friend but are we more than that after my audition?

I snapped out of my thought when I felt a pair of arms snake around my hips. I blushed and felt Austin kiss my cheek, making me turn a bright red. I lightly giggled and put my arms on top of his. He lightly moaned and I rested my head against his.

"I could stay like this forever Jesy, its quite nice having you in my arms." He said, kissing all over my face.

I giggled,"Well sorry to burst your bubble but we have a date at the beach. Lets go before Paul gets on snappy yet again." 

We both headed downstairs where Analee was awaiting with Jake Miller, my ex-boyfriend of two years. He's an up and coming rapper/singer signed to EOneRecords and well the sweetest thing ever - until he left to tour and left me behind. I'm not gonna lie, Jake looked really good, but what can I say? He always knew how to make me smile. I had goosebumps going all over my body seeing him but why should I care? He has Analee and I have Austin.

"We all ready to go?" I asked, semi-annoyed.

Everybody nodded and Paul shot up,"I don't like this at all but I love you Jess and congrats on being signed little sis!"

I smiled,"Thanks Paully! I love you too. See ya soon."

Jake laughed at me quoting his song tittle and I rolled my eyes. Everyone pilled up into my 2008 2-door Honda Civic. I drove, Austin in the front while Analee and Jake were in the back. My favorite song, What About Love, by Austin came on and I looked at him and sung apart of the song with him.

Austin and I laughed at each other being us while my sister made a Keek of us. Jake was on his phone not to happy at me but I felt a little bad because even though he hurt me I didn't want to hurt him. When we got to the beach and found a spot, Jake and Austin were mobbed by fans which kinda pissed me off but what could I do. Analee and I went off to the side and watched fans take pictures with the boys when Austin spoke.

"Sorry girls but I'm actually on a date right now with my girl over there." He said pointing at me. "So if you will excuse us, we'd very much like to have a nice date."

I grabbed his hand and placed a kiss on his cheek. Jake joined us and we all set our stuff down. I grabbed my speakers and put in my ipod on "Summer Songs<3". Analee and I put on sunlotion and  I ran into the water and took a dive into the crystal clear blue water. Analee and Jake were tanning while Austin came in running after me! Noooo! I tried to swim away but I failed and was in the arms of my very hot best friend. He was making a keek.

"Hey Mahomies! Just at the beach with my girl Jessica Yasman, her sister, and Jake Miller! I have to go cause this cutie is growing a little impatient." He chuckled

I playfully slapped him,"I am not - well only a little bit! Sorry Mahomies!" I planted a kiss on his cheek and hopped out of his arms.

He put his phone in his pocket and swam after me. I ran to shore and grabbed a freezing cold water bottle and smirked. I hid behind the umbrella and when he came over I sprayed him until I saw it was Jake who I sprayed. I couldn't help but laugh at him being soaked but then he grinned evily at me and my eyes widened scared. 

"J-Jake now lets think about this. C'mon it was a harmless prank and honestly wasn't ment for you, it was for Austin." I backed up and ran until he caught me.

Jake smiled,"Now that wasn't very nice Jessica. But now you owe me one."

I groaned,"Fine. I suppose I do. What do you want?" 

"A date with you." Jake said, hold my hand
