Zach flew in a few weeks after I broke the news to him & let me tell you about Zach, when someone close to him is hurting - that boy runs to their side no matter what the cost may be & I love him for that. I was in chemotherapy when he popped by & he fell to his knees, and just sobbed right in the door way. I probably would have been the same way if I saw myself. I was pretty pale, lost my hair but the wig I wear is so similar to my old hair, you could hardly tell the difference between them. Austin was still touring & the Janoskians are dealing with their new movie & Jake well he just moved out of town to be closer to Warner Bros with Madison & her friend so it's hard to even say his name anymore. Jenny (his sister) secretly stops by whenever she's in town from College. It's pretty much just me & my girls. Jai & Ari split so he texts me all the time to see how I'm doing & let me tell you: lying to them has been the hardest thing ever. I thought about making a video to announce the news & Jenna thinks it's a great way to get the news out.

But first I had to do what's right & tell the boys before they find out through YouTube. I decided to FaceTime them to be able to allow them to see what's going on with me. I texted Zach and asked if he can get the boys (Austin, Robert & Alex) together & call me on FaceTime . My laptop started to ring and I took a deep breath & answered it.

I waved,"H-hi guys!"

They smiled but I saw the look in Austins eyes, like he knew right away something wasn't right.

"Jessica.. Why aren't you at home?" Austin said, hesitantly

I closed my eyes, pulled off my wig & then reopened them. "Because I was diagnosed with leukemia and I'm undergoing chemotherapy treatments. Jenna has been taking me to the appointments & I didn't know when was the best time to tell you because you boys have been on tour & I didn't want you to fly home and watch me like a baby"

The boys were crying but Zach secretly gave me the thumbs up for telling them. Austin was just looking at me & got up and left while Robert & Alex sniffled.

"Have you told the others?" Alex asked

"Have you told Jake about this?" Robert sniffled

I don't know what to say. They didn't know & it was hard enough telling the fab4, now Jake & the Janoskians ?! I was in a freak mode & just shook my head.

"I haven't told them quite yet but I'm working on it very slowly, even if it means losing them." I explained," is Austin mad?"

Alex shook his head," he's just taking the news in, but he will be in a better mood soon."

God I hope I didn't just fucking lose my best friend 😞
