Four months later, and we have decided ona wedding date. Of course, it will be while I am pregnant, so we gotta plan this shit fast. Ill be six months pregnant when we get married, and we decided that the inside of our wedding cake will be the color of the baby, so like pink for a girl, and blue for a boy. Today me and the girls are going to find our dresses. My wedding dress of course and all the bridesmaids dresses. The boys already have their tux's, since they went last weekend. We were currently at a bridal shop in downtown LA.

I walked in, and I was imidantly hit with the scent of Vanilla and dresses.

"Hello, welcome to LA bridal, Im Kelly, ill be your consultant today, whos the luck bride to be?" She asked, looking aorund.

I shyly raised my hand. "Wonderful, Please, right this way." She said.

"Oh, I am going to be 6 months pregnant on my wedding day, by the way, so I dont know if that would effect how the dresses would look on me.." I siad.

"Not a problem, we have many that can be altered to fit your body." She gave me a warm smile.

We got started right away.

"So, tell me a bit about yourself, your fiancé and whatnot."

I smiled. "Well, his name is Nathan, or Nate, and we have two beautiful kids, Nathan and James..Uhm..And were having another baby." I smiled.

"Oh how sweet, how old are they?" She asked.

"Here, they just turned 4 a few months ago." I said, showing her a picture.

"Oh how precious." She smiled. "Im sure they would like to see thier mommy in something beautiful."

I smiled. "Now go ahead and go pick four dresses, and well come back and try them on.

I came back out and we went hunting. Hannah picked out two really big poofy dresses, Amanda picked a few mermaid dresses, and Jennifer, (Johnsons mom) picked out a few that were really conservative.

"Come on ma, its my wedding day, lemme be a lil risky" I laughed.

"Oh come on now, you know, I'm pretty sure youll like at least one of them that I picked for you."

I smiled and headed to try them on. Hannahs made me look like I was 600 pounds overweight, and I got rid of them fast, but they were a good laugh. I walked out in one of the mermaid dresses, and we all liked it, until I bent down, and one of the buttons popped. "Thats a no from me." Hannah said, imitating Simon Cowell.

After many failed attempts, I decided to look at the ones Jennifer picked out. The first one wasone with an all lace top, and a silky tulley bottom. It was decaled in the front, covering my boobs, but it looked weird with my belly. I walked out and they said no to that one. Johnsons mom smiled, "You look beautiful in anything."

I smiled.

I walked back into the room with Kelly, and we tried on the next one. It was an all lack straps, V-back and tulle, and wal slightly fitted at the top, and loose on the bottom. I tried it on and it was very pretty, but just not the right one, yet. I walkedout and they said it looked weird, saying how it didnt fit my bust right, so then on to the next one. The next one was an ivory color, with a slight slit in the back, and was very fitted at the bottom, and loose at the top, hiding my belly, and my chest, but my shoulders were visible. it also had jewels going down it in every direction. I walked out and they all oohed and awhed. I didnt like it was much, and decided to look at the last one. It was flowy, and white, and had lace on the top, and lace straps. I started tearing up when I tried it on. I looked in the mirror and saw myself.

Kelly came up behind me and rested her hands on my shoulders. "I think this is the dress." I quickly nodded my head and wiped the tears.

"Oh my god, Britteny, you look amazing." Hannah said.

Then I lost it. The tears fell down my face, I wish Nate was here to see it, and the boys, they would be saying how beautiful I looked. I wished my dad was here, so he could tell me how proud he was, and so he could walk me down the isle, and see how beautiful i look. And I wish my mom was here too, so she could be a part of this. But not everything can go your way.

"I saw Patti come up behind me, she fixed my hair up into a messy side bun. "Your dad would be in tears right now, you know that right?" She said, trying not to cry herself.

"I know." I managed to say.

"I'll be the proud dad for him." She chuckled, wiping her tears away.

"Is this the dress?" HAnnah asked, holding her hands over her eyes.

"Yes." I said, "A million times yes."
