Choose Between Us.

Chapter 1

I would give anything to see her again.

I remember it like a winter afternoon. It was cold outside and snowflakes were falling gently from the sky. I stare out the front door and look down afterwards. My head started to hurt so I decided to go inside and take some pills.

As I search through my drawer on my room, I hear my phone ring from the other side of the room. I walk towards where my phone was located and answer it. "Hello?" I ask grumpily. I heard snickering from the other side of the line.

"H-hey! What's up, man?!" I heard a familiar voice leak through the phone. "Yuki? Why the hell are you calling me again?" I answer, very pissed. You see, Yuki (one of my friends) has been calling me frequently for the past week. It's been getting pretty annoying.

"Oh. Someone's on their period." He giggled. I could hear someone else with Yuki. This time, the voice was deeper. The mysterious voice struggled to explode with laughter. Or at least that's what I could I hear. "I'm not on my period. And who's with you, Yuki?"

I heard Yuki hand the phone to someone else. "Hey there, Allen!" he yelled. As soon as I heard his voice, I could tell it was Yuki's boyfriend, Devon. "Hey... Why are you guys calling me? And why are you laughing so much" I question as I wander around the room. "We just wanna know if ya wanna hang out? We're laughing because we've been prank calling some people and we just wanna know if ya wanna join." Devon spoke, a little calmer this time.

"Alright, I'll hang with you guys..." I said, yet again, grumpily. I take the pills, put on some shoes and a jacket, and start heading to their house.

As I arrive, I knock on the door and wait outside with my ass freezing. Yuki answers the door and invites me in. "C'mon in! Oh! We have another guest we invited! Please be kind to her," he told me gently. I look at Yuki and Devon's couch and then, there she was... Laying beautifully like a flower before my eyes...
