Chapter 40

I began walking home a little slower than usual. I was actually still shocked from what I had just seen. Poor Kira. I had to find a way to stop this without hurting her or anyone else. If I kill Sebastian then his master, Ciel Phantomhive, will send the police after me. Then I'll be hurting everyone for sure. As I made my way home, my phone began to ring. "Hello?" I answered. "Allen? Devon, Yuki, and I are going to your house. Is that alright?" Kira asked. I sighed. I already had too much trouble with Nick and his brother. I had to make space for three more. "Well, are you guys gonna stay the night? 'Cuz if you are then I'll have to make lots of space for you guys." I answered.

Kira responded with a sigh and a 'yes'. "Alright, then you guys can come over. It's ok." I allowed. I walked into my house, hanging up on the phone. I noticed that the bathroom light was on. Hm? I wonder what's going on? I made my way to the bathroom and opened the door cautiously. "Nick? What are you doing?" I asked with curiosity. "I'm giving Kitty a bath! He's dirty so I wanted to make sure he's all clean before he turns into a humanoid! I sighed and let the two of them be. "Well, hurry up because Kira, Devon, and Yuki are coming over. They're going to stay the night." I warned. Nick nodded to pretend he understood everything. I could tell that he wasn't paying attention.

I then left to my room to change into baggy shorts and a muscle tank. After that, I went to the couch and began to play games on my phone. That's when I heard a gentle knock on the door. I opened the door to find Kira hugging me so hard, I almost lost my breath. Devon and Yuki joined into the hug as well. I chuckled softly, "I'm okay, guys. I wasn't hurt."  I noticed small droplets of tears wet my chest. Devon and Yuki sat together on the couch and cuddled but Kira was still hugging me. All my attention was pointed toward her. I really cared about her. "Kira? Why are you crying?" I asked with concern in my voice. Kira looked up at me and wiped her tears. She grew a soft smile and said, "I'm just glad you're not hurt. I really love you, Allen HellSun." My heart skipped a beat. That was the first time she had ever said my full name.

"I love you too, Kira Venus," I teased. She grew blush all across her face. My instincts had gotten the best of me and I kissed her lips softly. I just wanted to ask her a question that could probably change her life... "Hey Kira, come to the room with me for a second." She then follows me to the room and I close the door. We then sit next to each other, her hand in mine. I kissed her head softly and spoke those sacred words, "Kira, Will you........"
