Chapter 10

I stared out the window, sighing. "Hey, you okay?" Kira asked with a little more concern in her voice. I shrug and struggle to sit up. Sebastian walks into the room with medicine, bandages, and alcohol all on one tray. "You finally woke up, sir." he said, chuckling under his breath. He handed me a cup of water and a strange looking pill. "Drink it. It'll help you recover faster." said the tall demon. I drank the pill with water.

Soon, I stood up and tried to walk around a bit. My legs were a little wobbly but it was okay. "Hey, Allen, we have to take you to the clinic. They have to give you a check up to see if you're okay. Sebastian told me it's not necessary but I worry about you." Kira said, sounding deeply concerned. I nod and walk to the kitchen. Out of nowhere, I feel some one hug me. It was Kira. "Don't just nod, you dummy. Did you hear me? We have to go now before it gets to crowded." Kira spoke softer this time.

I chuckle softly and turn around to hug her back. I embrace her and stroke her hair. "I'm a very big dummy, aren't I?" I chuckle, "I'll get into proper clothes." I then walk away to my room as she giggles. I undress myself after closing the door. I look in the mirror and check my body shape. "I still have it. Haha... My twelve pack is still in shape. Although, I hold go to the gym more often." I mutter to myself, turning to see my body from different angles. I grab a pair of jeans, a red muscle tank, and a black jacket. I put it on and apply my shoes.

Kira walks into my room and sits on the bed. "Sebastian left. He said he had to do something, so do you mind driving?" Kira asked, sounding like she didn't want to overwhelm me. I shake my head, "I'll drive. Don't worry." I walk toward her and sit down on the bed. She leans onto me and places her head on my shoulder "So... I bet you have a very pretty girlfriend. I bet she's really nice too." Kira said. I blush instantly and look at her. "H-huh? Me? I'm single at the moment... I'm not in any sort of relationship right now." I answer. She smiles and looks up at me, "Oh okay! Well, are you waiting for some one to pass by? Or do have someone in mind?" smiled Kira. I shrug and look down, "It's nothing... She already has someone so what's the point." I add. She sighs and kisses me unexpectedly, breaking the kiss softly. "Don't say such a thing... She might be with someone but she really cares about you... It's a fact." she states.

I kiss back and slowly lay her down, "I know she cares but she prefers to stay with someone else. I'm too useless for her." I respond. She giggles and pulls me into a deep romantic kiss. I hug her close and kiss her softly. She breaks the kiss and looks into my eyes, "Allen... Tell me how you feel. 'Cuz it's pretty obvious already." Kira sighed. I blush instantly and sigh, "Kira, I... I love you."
