*Dean's POV*

"Alright, here's the plan"

It was just past 8 and we were gathered around the table to talk about strategy.

"At 9, I will zap you two up to the prison and leave immediately, if they catch me I'm a dead man, well angel, you know what I mean! Anyway, I zap you two up and you will have one hour to get Cas and meet me back where I drop you. I can't say exactly where in the prison he is but hopefully you will be able to find him, we clear?"

"Crystal" Sam and I replied at the same time.

"Alright, I would tell you to say your prayers, but don't, otherwise they will know what we are up to"

With that he leant back into his chair and closed his eyes.

"Dean?" Sam muttered moving closer to me, "How are you holding up?"

"Right now? I'm not. I will only be okay when Cas is back in my arms, right where he belongs.

He looked at my sympathetically as I walked in to the kitchen to get some food.

I opened the fridge but all that was in there was some pie Cas had made me, Which seemed like a lifetime ago, but was actually just over a week.

I felt my throat constrict as Memories from the night he had made it and we had kissed for the first time came back to me.

I felt the bed dip slightly as Cas sat next to me and wrapped his arms around my shoulders.

"It's okay dean, I should be the one apologising, you caught me by surprise"

I looked up at him barely believing my ears. "Wait, do you mean.....?"

"Yes, Dean"

He leant over and pressed his lips to mine again.

I smiled thinking about it and a lone tear dripped down my face.

"Dean?" Sam soft voice came from the door.

I quickly wiped my face and turned to him, "Yeah?"

"It's time to go"

I smiled darkly "Let's get those sons of bitches"

..........

It was white.

Like it was really white.

"Which way first?" I whispered to Sam, afraid if I spoke any louder someone would hear me.

"I dunno, you choose" Sam was equally quiet.

I looked right, then left,

"This way" I muttered, going left, it just seemed like the right way (pun not intended).

We passed hundreds of cells, most empty, but a few with broken angels in them, mostly muttering quietly to themselves.

I picked up the pace, we were close, I just knew it.

............

I saw him.

He sat in the corner of his cell, rocking back and fourth muttering "Dean.....Dean.....Dean...DeanDeanDeanDeanDeanDeanDeanDean"

I flung open his cell and ran to him, but when he saw me he flinched and flung his arms up.

"Pl-please, De-Dean, don't hurt me"

I froze in horror, "Cas" I whispered.

Sam gently pushed me aside, "I've got him Dean"

Sam walked over to Cas and crouched next to him, muttering softly.

Cas nodded and Sam picked him up bridal style.

"Lets get him home" Sam said and together we ran to where Gabriel was waiting.

I saw Gabriel close his eyes for a second in relief when he saw we had Cas, then we were back at the bunker.

Gabriel touched Cas's forehead with a finger and his muttering stopped as he fell unconscious.

"He will only be out for a few hours, you guys will need to be patient and gentle with him. The angels, they will have tortured his mind, he is broken.
Dean, you have to fix him"

"I will, I swear"

Gabriel looked at me, nodded when he saw how serious I was, and left

"I'll put him in his room" Sam said quietly and began heading off.

"No, Sam, put him in mine" Sam nodded and headed to my room with Cas curled in his arms.

He should be in my arms, always, not Sam's, why was he so afraid of me?"

"I will fix you my Angel" I promised the empty room.
