As soon as the nurse said that, mom almost jumped pit of the bed. I was already running out of the room because the nurse was rushing to help mom stay in bed. While I rushed down the hall the nurse came out and yelled at me to stop. I was looking for her name on a door. Then I saw her name. It was Hailey's room. I didn't even hesitate to open the door. I went right in to see the doctors all around her. She was hooked up to a bunch of machines and the doctors were all yelling. I heard one lady say, "She needs oxygen! She's awake!"! I scrambled over to her bed and one of the doctors tried to stop me. I thought she was going to die. The doctor was telling me I needed to leave but I kept miring, "No, I need ehr. She needs me." I kept pushing against his arms but he pushed me out of the room. I saw the nurse from earlier. She was trying to drag me out. I was trying to figure out why I couldn't see her. I asked the nurse. She said, "I was trying to tel you and your mother! She needs surgery! We just needed her to wake up first before we did the surgery.!". I started crying when she said this. I was afraid that Hailey wouldn't wake up. I kept saying no. But she ignored me. Then she said, "She needs it in order to survive. Do you want to be the reason she dies? Because you didn't want her to have a simple head surgery?". I started bawling when she said that. She carried me to mothers room. She set me down in the chair. The last thing I heard before I fell to sleep crying, was my mother crying herself while saying, "Yes. Do the surgery. Do the surgery.".
