Chapter 24: More Family

Guess what? It's my birthday! And Skyla's also! Yeeh! I'm 15 now, on the 20th of februari!?

"Hey Sky, have you seen this?" Aidan asked, handing me his phone.

"Your second name is Anderson, right? Well this woman is looking for her daughter, Skyla Anderson." he then said, I scrolled through the account.

It was mostly reposts of all my and Aidan's pictures, but I could see that there was one picture posted multiple times.

My wedding picture....

"We should contact her, and call my dad." I sighed, he nodded,

"I'll email her, call Lee, tell him we're coming to California." he said, I sighed.

"I just hope this is not a faker." I said, he stood up and kissed my forehead.

"Me too, but we should go see Lee anyways. He hasn't even seen Liam yet, it has been three months." he sighed, I smiled.

"True."

I ringed the door bell, I. Am. Exhausted.

Sitting in a plane for way too long, with five children is not the best thing.

My dad opened the door, hugging me immediately.

"Hey sweetheart." he mumbled and he kissed my forehead.

He then turned to all the squeeling children, hugging all of them before letting us in.

"So this is the new baby." he whispered, Aidan nodded.

"You can hold him, he's very light." Aidan said, gently placing the baby into Lee's arms.

"He looks like you, Aidan." he sighed, carefully sliding one hand down Liam's chubby cheek.

My hands were sweating, alot. I could barely hold Lillian her hand, she insisted on walking by herself, like a big girl.

Aidan ringed the doorbell, Lee placed one hand onto my shoulder.

"It's gonna be okay." he whispered, picking Felix off the ground.

The door then opened to reveal a woman, she looked around her fourties.

"Oh. My. God. I can't believe it, Skyla." she said, placing one hand onto her mouth.

"Hi." was the only thing I could say before starting to cry.

She put her arms around me and hugged me tight, like she would never let me go.

When she finally let go, we all got led in.

She didn't have a very big house, so that meant, lots of people on one couch.

I had Liam in my arms, Lillian on my lap. Aidan had Felix on his lap, with Kate and William sitting next to him.

"So... You are her mother, that's cool." my dad said, she nodded.

"It's weird to see you in person. I haven't seen you in 26 years, I remember the last time I saw you... At the orphanage." she said, I smiled.

"How old were you?" I asked, she started tearing up again.

"Fourteen. I was too young to take care of you myself, but I was not willing to get an abortion." she said, I nodded understanding.

"What about my real dad?" I asked, must be a heavy subject.

"Well... He left me when I told him that I wanted to keep you." she said, a few tears rolled down my cheeks.

Aidan quickly put one arm around my shoulder, and kissed my cheek before wiping the tears off my cheeks.

"Daddy, who is she?" Felix asked, I smiled.

"That's... Uhm, grandma..." Aidan said, I looked at her.

"Sarah." she said shortly, Felix raised his eyebrows.

"Would you like to know all their full names?" Lee asked her, she happily nodded.

"William Lee Turner." I said, ruffling the little boy's hair.

"This is our little shark, Felix Pat Turner." Aidan said, Felix quickly put his hands on his head so nobody would ruffle his hair.

"This is his twin sister, Kate Eileen Turner." Lee said, the little girl hopped up and down, her pigtails bouncing with her movements.

"This cutie is Lillian Allison Turner." I said, the little girl was not really paying attention. Her butterfly toy was much more interesting to her, well, sucking on it was more interesting.

"And then last, our little baby. Liam Dean Turner, but he's constantly sleeping." Aidan said, booping the little boy's nose.

"Wow, just wow.... It's just... Amazing, knowing my family. But tell me, how did you two meet?" she asked, Aidan and I smiled broadly.

"We met on the set of the Hobbit, and we immediately hit it off. And when we had to leave the studios for some filming, it was instant romance actually." Aidan said, Lee nervously smiled.

"To my despite... Well, I first hated Aidan. For a very, very, very long time, if I have to be honest. But when he asked for my permission to propose to Skyla I couldn't say no. I just knew that he loved her as much as I do, and she loved him alot. And before they even got married I got a call from Skyla telling me she was pregnant, I got all angry and stuff when I first saw him." dad sighed, Aidan heavily nodded.

"You hit me really hard, like, really, really, really hard. I still have the scar on my right thigh from when you pushed me onto the ground!" Aidan exclaimed, I nodded agreeing.

"I actually think it's kinda sexy, my two favourite men fighting over me. I'm really glad it's all okay now, though. Imagine if you two were still fighting." I said, my dad glared at Aidan.

"Oh, the game is still on! If you will do anything I don't like to or with her, I will still kill you." Lee said making me smile.

"Like what? We already did so much together." I giggled, Sarah smiled.

"It's so much fun to hear about your life, it makes me feel like I have a family again." she sighed, I made a confused face.

"Don't you have siblings? Parents? Really close friends?" I questioned, she sadly shook her head.

"We will stay close. Family is the most important thing in the world, and since you are my mom... I will stay in contact with you." I said making her smile.

"Thank you, Skyla. Thank you so much." My actual mom then said, smiling like an idiot.

Not a bad kind of idiot, a mom kind of idiot.
