here goes nothing..

The quiet girl

You bully her.
You call her mean names but she's still quiet.
You don't know this girl.
Everyday at recess she's listening to her music.
She thinks of many ways to commit suicide.
The ones that will actually work.
You see..
That girl who is quiet goes home only to find her adoption parents.
Her abusive father and her rude brother.
Her dad leaves bruises and makes her bleed.
Her brother hits her and calls her mean names.
But she still stays quiet.
Her mom comes home and she's still quiet..
Sitting in her room playing her music through her headphones.
The bands that helped her through it all are no longer a help.
Nobody can save her.
She's already dead inside.
The depression flows through her mind and takes over her body.
She wonders why she's the victim.
The next day at school she still gets bullied.
She comes home later that day and she has tears running down her face.
She runs into the bathroom and grabs her moms sleeping pills.
The takes them into her room.
The girl isn't one for cutting or suicide.
But she just needed to end it.
She was tired of the bullies and the abuse.
She wrote a note to her mother including the many bands that have saved her life.
She writes everything that happened.
Finally telling her mother everything that was going on.
She loved her mother and the thought of never seeing her again made her cry. But it was too late.
She took the whole bottle of pills and soon enough she smiled and passed out.
Her mom walked into her room after getting off of work to greet her.
She opened the door and thought her daughter was sleeping.
After all school is a tiring thing.
Except she noticed a note.
She picked it up and read it.
