Hi Guys!

This is in Mitch's POV
Enjoy!
-------------

I remember when I first met him. How ever many years ago that was. I remember the first thing he said to me.

Can I play with you?

He was 5 and I was 4. I met him in the park in the sandpit. Everyday I returned to that sandpit and he was always there. We'd alway play together.

That meeting between us, turned into a friendship. He was my best friend.

We had grown up together. We were inseparable. That was us up until high school.

He had to move away. It hurt to hear him tell me he was moving.. But not as much as it hurt to hear him confess his love to me. He told me he loved me and wanted to be with me but it was too late. He was leaving.

We tried to stay in touch as much as we could. We had phone conversations, we even wrote letters to each other.

We still called each other on the phone. And I remembered that phone call that filled my heart with glee. He told me he was coming back.

It had been years since I last saw him. I hardly even remembered what he looked like. But I remembered his kind words.

He hadn't told me where he wanted to meet me, so I roamed the streets in hopes of finding him. I had spent the whole day looking for him, but he didn't show.

I had gone to the park where we met for the first time. And I saw the sandpit where he first spoke to me. I walked over to the sand pit and played in it.

As I played in the pit, a voice said

Can I play with you?

I remember turning around and seeing a man. A man who had grown and matured into a sexy person. Puberty had done wonders. His voice was many octaves lower than before but I still recognised him.

I remember the hug I gave him. And I remember the conversation we had.

Is the role of your boyfriend taken ?

Yes.

By who?

By you.

I had my best friend back but most importantly, I had the love of my life near me and I couldn't be happier.

Hope you guys enjoyed
