Underground

Me and about twenty other people were cramped together in an elevator leading to the underground. Just months ago the monsters escaped from here and began living peacefully among us, which honestly was kind of hard to get used to but still pretty cool. This is my first time ever seeing the underground, but I heard so many great things about it. I bounced on my toes as the elevator came to stop. The doors of the elevator opened to reveal a dim area with glowing blue flowers and a beautiful waterfall. Small glowing blue creatures that looked like fireflies buzzed around me as I stepped out of the elevator. Everyone with me seemed as amazed by what they saw as I was. The tour guide, a cute white bunny lady, started escorting everyone around the area. I wasn't really listening to what she was saying, I was too entranced by the amazing surroundings. Suddenly, I heard a small rustling come from behind me. I turned around to see a bush lightly shaking. The shaking stopped after a few seconds, then a little white dog jumped out.
"Oh hello there." I said while giggling. The dog looked up at me eagerly and wagged it's tail. I knelt down to pet it and it wagged it's tail even harder. When I stood back up again I noticed that my left foot felt slightly damp. I looked down only to discover that my shoe was missing, then saw that the dog held it in it's mouth. "How the h-" I began, but then the dog started running away. "Hey! That's mine, give it back!" I shouted, running after the dog. After what seemed like 20 minutes I finally was able to grab the dog before it jumped through another bush. I took my shoe from its mouth and slid it back on my foot. Still holding the dog I looked around to try and figure out which way I came...then realizing that I had no idea. Great. Lost in the underground. Before I could get up I heard a loud crash of something being smashed from the other side of the bush. The little dog let out a small squeak. I slowly rose my head to peek over the top of the bush, and gasped at what I saw. Giant boulders were being lifted into the air and thrown at a tall thin figure. The boulders were surrounded by a blue glow, and were being thrown by a shorter figure. At first I thought the two were fighting, but then the short figure stopped throwing boulders and laughed with the taller figure. They walked close to each other and began talking, but I couldn't really hear what they were saying. Just in case they were dangerous, even though every monster I've met has been extremely kind, I began to slowly and quietly crawl away. The dog began wiggling around in my arms and was able to free itself and run away from me. The dog ran to the bush and started to try and run through it, causing the bush to shake. Oh god, this is definitely going to attract attention to those two figures. As if on cue, a rock surrounded by a blue glow rose into the air and was sent flying in my direction. I screamed and covered my face with my arms. I heard a tiny thump in front of me, and moved my arms to see that I had misjudged the size of the rock, for it was just a tiny pebble. I laughed nervously for a few seconds, and I was shaking a bit. Before I could get up the sound of footsteps started getting near. I was still too scared to move, so I just stared at the bush. From it a short, wide skeleton emerged, and the dog jumped excitedly on its legs. The skeleton looked down at me with what seemed like a worried expression.
"you ok?" He asked, and he reached out his boney hand to help me up. I slowly took it and let him pull me up. "it looks like i really scared you...sorry about that. i was just messing around with my brother Papyrus."
"Sans! Who are you talking to?!" A voice shouted from behind.
"oh yeah, and my name is Sans." He said as his brother ran up to him. His brother towered over me, but yet he didn't look intimidating at all.
"Ah, hello there human! Allow me to introduce myself, I am the great Papyrus!" I smiled at him and quietly said hi. "So human...what were you doing hiding behind this bush?"
"Oh, umm...I was on this tour and I saw a little dog and it stole my shoe, so I chased after it and..." Sans raised his hand to stop me.
"the little white dogs, they're really something aren't they? but i gotta admit, it's pretty humerus when they mess with someone else."
...
Did he just-
"Really Sans? We just met her and you're already making terrible puns!" Papyrus nearly shouted as he glared at Sans. Sans just shrugged. Papyrus looked back at me then gasped. "Human! Your leg!" I looked down and saw that there was a small blood stain on my right leg. I rolled up my pant leg to revel my scraped and bleeding knee.
"ah geez, that's not good." Sans said. "tell you what, how bout you come back to our place and we'll get you patched up. then maybe we can give you a tour around here ourselves." I smiled and nodded, then to my surprise Papyrus lifted me off my feet and carried me bridal style.
"I refuse to let you walk with that injury human!" He said.
"It's not that bad..really. And I have a name you know. It's (y/n).
"that's a Sansational name." Sans said, and the large grin that he had on his face since I first saw him seemed to stretch slightly wider. I couldn't help but giggle as Papyrus glared at Sans, and the rest of the way to their house was filled with even more bad puns.
