Chapter 18- Woo my lady
*Azaan's p.o.v:
"Operation Mystery dude!" Adrian said.
"No." I said. That's so lame.
"Coz the dude is mysterious." Dear Adrian argued.
"Duh. As if that isn't obvious." Kai said. "I say we name it as 'Operation Staircase!' Think about it Ziya fell from the stairs."
"Ugh bro, don't remind me." Inayat said.
"Whyyyyy? What's the problem lover boy? Don't worry. I, Adrian, will be your knight in shining armor." Inayat hit his head with my pillow. Good. Adrian had that one coming. But that didn't stop me from laughing. Inayat glared at me. "Not you too Azaan."
"Okay. Let us go back to selecting a good name, yeah? Now let me think." Kai said pacing back and forth in my room.
"You have a brain, my friend?" Adrian asked.
"Look who's talking." Kai countered back.
"Great. Now you don't even know my name." Adrian said faking a pout.
"Don't do that bro" Inayat said.
"But my fans fall for it all the time." Adrian whined. I swear he acts like a kid sometimes. Who am I kidding? He acts like a kid all the time.
"Will you let us live in peace? I need to think Adrian. You know what 'think' means right?" Kai said.
"Yeah, I do. There's many synonyms like believe, reason, ponder, mull over, contemplate,-"
"Wow dude. You know words like 'contemplate'?" I asked.
"Of course!" he said stomping his foot. Kid.
"Adrian's bulb lit finally!" Kai said.
"Look who's talking!" Adrian repeated Kai's words.
"No wonder why my room is shining brightly." I remarked.
"Cut it out guys. I swear you too bicker like a married couple." Inayat said pointing at Kai and Adrian which only made them smirk.
"Someone sure has knowledge about married couples." Adrian said wiggling his eyebrows. He will definitely fit the role of a mother or mother in law, if he were to act in a play. Inayat banged his head in the wall.
"I have got an idea!" Kai exclaimed suddenly. "How about 'Operation Lover Boy'?! See, Aara received love notes. Well she didn't receive it yet since Ziya took care of it."
"Operation Lover Boy? No way am I agreeing to that. Think about something else." That's not a good idea. Adrian or Kai will come up with something more lame again. "Wait. Don't do that. I will figure it out myself."
Adrian and Kai smirked. Again. And this time it was meant for me. O oh?
"Whyyyy? Lover boy doesn't like the name?" Adrian teased. Inayat and Kai laughed. Now this time, I glared at him to which he stuck his tongue out. And here I thought he was more sensible.
"Enjoy the party" he said and left the room. Oh no. I am not going to be stuck with two kids alone.
"Hey wait. Don't leave me! I am coming too!" I ran after him. "That meeting totally failed." I said catching up to Inayat.
"We went off the track. Let's just stick with the planning of the operation and leave the naming to the married couples, who I guess are still fighting over the names." I chuckled. "Yeah, you are right. So what have you thought so far?" I asked.
