Kat: So, how are you and Levi?

Alex: I hope you two are super great!

Kat: Jeez, Alex, take it down a notch.

Alex: I'm just so happy for them!

Kat: Did I miss something? Because they aren't getting married.

Alex: You didn't miss anything. Like I said, I'm just happy for them!

Kat: Happy about what?

Alex: About them becoming friends again!

Me: Hold up. No one became friends.

Alex: What?!

Me: All we did was talk.

Alex: Doesn't that mean that you became friends again?

Me: Alex, you can stop trying to get us to become friends.

Alex: Never!

Me: Well, you're wasting your time.

Kat: Do you think that he doesn't like you or something?

Me: Well, I just think he didn't care about becoming friends again.

Alex: I'll fix that.

Me: No, you won't.

Alex: Yes, I will.

Me: Come on, Alex. Please don't.

Alex: Come on, Ellie. Please let me.

Ave: Oh. My. Gosh. Can you stop talking! I'm trying to read, but it's hard to do that when all I hear is the buzzing of your phone!

Kat: You're reading? In the summer? Who are you?

Ave: I'm me. So, stop talking so much.

Me: Oh, you know we won't.

Ave: It was worth a try.

Kat: You know us so well.

Ave: I have to, with all the time I spend with you freaks.

Alex: Oh, I can feel the love.

Me: Yes, so much love.

Alex: I can feel the love overpowering me.

Kat: There's so much love, that the neighbors can feel it.

Ave: Whoa, that's a little overboard.

Kat: But, it's true.

Ave: If you say so.

Kat: Okay, guys! Guess what?

Ave: You found your sanity?!

Kat: What?

Kat: No.

Alex: CONTINUE.

Kat: Okay, so I bought this really cute dress from that small boutique we always pass on our way to school.

Ave: I'm out.

Me: Oh! Was it the one that was hung in the shop window?

Kat: No, it was the one in the shop that's two piece.

Alex: The long one?

Kat: Yes! It's really cute!

Me: I loved that one! The designs on it were really cute.

Kat: I can't wait to wear it at the beach!

Alex: We should go soon!

Me: Yes! I could wear my really cute, black romper to cover my swimsuit!

Kat: Oh! We should go on Friday after school!

Alex: Avery, did you hear that?

Ave: Yes. I'm not dead.

Kat: Sweet! That's a plan!

Me: Yay!

Hi, guys! The book might not be too entertaining at the moment, but trust me; it'll get better soon! Just remember, the conflict isn't at the beginning of a book. So, it'll just take time to get the story rolling.

Also, sorry this chapter was so short! I needed a filler! But, the next chapter should be a little bit more entertaining.
