{POV-Ellie}

Before I was born, my parents agreed to name me Elliana-Marie Rose, in honor of my Grandma Rose and Aunt Marie, who died a few months before I was born. My parents have always talked about how amazing they were and how they wish that they could've met me. It was such a soft subject to talk to them about. I never got teary eyed or emotional while talking about this, because I wasn't around when it happened. My parents also wanted my nickname to be Ellie because my mother has always loved that name, but my father didn't want me to be named just Ellie. He thought that it was too simple of a name for such an "extraordinary girl." He thought that even before he even met me. He said that he just had a feeling that I would do great things and change people's minds for the better. I'd always ask him if he thought that I would be someone who was in front of large crowds or cameras, but he'd always disagree.

Now, I'm fifteen years old and I have an older brother, Gavyn, who is more than over protective. He's seventeen, which makes him two years older than me. I also have a younger sister, Christina, who is fourteen years old. I always liked being the middle child, considering that I had one older brother to protect me, and a younger sister to bond with. I never had a problem with being in the middle, until Gavyn graduated high school and I was going to be left as the oldest of us three. Gavyn hasn't left for college yet, but that's only because he's still trying to find the right college. In the meantime, he's working at a shop in town to earn enough money to attend a college.

My parents are able to pay for his college, but they told him that he had to try to make it in on his own. If he didn't earn enough money by the time it was time to enroll into a college, they were going to pay for half of his funds. But, the problem with that, is that he has to pass all of his classes or he would be grounded for three months. Parents can't ground their grown child, can they? Apparently they can because Gavyn was totally cool with this situation.

Of course he's trying to earn as much money as possible so that he didn't have to have our parent's help and also have the weight of trying to pass all of his classes so that he didn't get grounded for three months. Those three months happen to be during summer break, which also happens to be all of summer. But, that would totally work out if he took summer classes to try to pass those classes and not have to worry about being grounded for the whole summer. Although, it would be almost the same things as being grounded.

"Ellie!" I heard someone yell to me as they swung open my bedroom door.

I groaned at the voice, not even knowing who it was.

"You're missing out on the first day of summer break!" Someone who sounded an awful lot like my best friend, said.

I looked up to see Alexis, Katheryn, and Avery. "Guys! What's the hurry? Ithought that the first day of summer break was supposed to be relaxing." I rolled my eyes at them as I sat up, still wrapped in my comforter from when I was sleeping.

"It will be! Just get up and get dressed!" Katheryn said as she dug through my dresser and closet trying to find something for me to wear. "Here." She said as she threw a black t-shirt and dark, jean shorts at me.

I climbed out of bed with my clothes in my hand and I walked into the bathroom and changed my clothes. While I was in the bathroom, I decided to brush my hair and put it into a high ponytail and also put on some makeup so I will at least be somewhat presentable for wherever we were going.

"Hurry up!" Avery begged through the locked door.

"I'm putting on makeup!" I yelled back at her.

"Well, do it faster!" Alexis whined, with a slight giggle.

"I'm almost done so hush." I yelled back at them. I came out of the bathroom and everyone looked directly at me. "Where are we going?" I asked them.
