Chapter 26

Yoongi was at a jewelry store right now with the fabulous Jin and the fetus Jungkook.

"Are you sure about this?" Jin asked Yoongi who was looking at some golden rings.

"I'm perfectly sure. I've done this once before... I wanna make sure I'll do it better than last time." Yoongi said the looked at the employee, "Can I see this one please?" He pointed at a ring.

The employee took it out and showed it to him. It was a golden ring with three little diamonds in a row, vertically on the ring.

Yoongi looked at it, "I want it. How much?"

The price range was just barely in Yoongi's budget... So he bought it.

"Does Jimin know about this?" Jungkook asked him.

"Why the fuck would I tell him I'm buying a ring for him? Especially, An engagement ring."

Jungkook shrugged, "Where is he anyway? And why did we come along?"

"He's taking care of Dae and Cho at the house, I told him I was going to basketball practice. And you guys came to give me moral support." Yoongi said looking at the box that the ring laid in.

"How are you going to give it to him?" Jin asked.

"Simple. I'm going to put it in his jar of jams that he's been obsessed with lately." Yoongi said bluntly.

"But doesn't Namjoon always say he doesn't have jams." Jin laughed. "Even whenever we are all skyping because he's in New Zealand, he always brings it up."

"He doesn't have any. It's actually a jar of jelly, but I let him think it was jam."

Jungkook and Jin rolled there eyes, "Now why would you put it in jelly and let it get all sticky?" Jungkook asked.

"Right... Then what should I do?" Yoongi wondered.

They went to a coffee shop to figure something out, and came up with the perfect plan.

Yoongi went home after, "Basketball practice ran long, didn't it? Unless you went somewhere else..." Jimin said with Dae in his lap, playing with her dolls.

"Uh, yeah... I just went to go get some coffee with Jin and Jungkook, that's all. Sorry I didn't tell you." Yoongi told him.

Jimin shrugged, "It's fine. I have a question. How do I randomly bring out my fangs?"

Yoongi looked up as if he was thinking, "I'm not sure. It's been a long time since I learned. It'll become an instinct for you soon. By the way, where's Cho?"

"Doing homework in his room."

"He better fucking be." Yoongi said.

"Yeah! He better fucking be!" Dae giggled.

Jimin quickly covered her mouth, "Dae!"

"No cursing, Dae." Yoongi scolded.

"Yoongi, what did I say about cursing in front of her?" Jimin scolded Yoongi too.

"Sorry... Jimin! Let's go on a date later." Yoongi changed the topic.

Jimin let down Dae and told her to go to her room for a minute which she did.

"Ok, why all of a sudden?" Jimin asked.

Yoongi shrugged, "We haven't been on an actual date in a while."

"Don't we go on at least one every week? And we live together..."

"Well yeah, but those dates are like movies or going to an arcade." Yoongi whined.

"You're the one who offered we only do that and I agreed." Jimin laughed.

"Tonight, we are going to a fancy restaurant." Yoongi finally said.

"Uh, ok... So should I get dressed up?" Jimin tilted his head.

"If you want... Actually, that might be the best choice."

"Alright. What about the kids?" Jimin asked.

"Woozi should be here any second." Yoongi said bluntly.

"Well, I'll go get changed then!" Jimin stood up, happily and went to go get ready. Yoongi did the same.

About ten minutes later, Woozi came and the Yoonmin couple said bye and left.

When they arrived at the restaurant, it all seemed empty.

"Why here? It looks really empty." Jimin looked around inside.

"Hehe, I may have reserved the whole restaurant except for some tables here and there." Yoongi laughed a bit. Truth is, I was lent money from Hoseok, Taehyung, Jin, and Jungkook to do this... He thought to himself.

Jimin raised an eyebrow, "Ok, then..."

They took their seat, "By the way, no wine or beer or soju or anything of the sort." Yoongi ordered.

"Why? It sets the mood." Jimin joked, "Anyway, shouldn't I be telling you that?"

"No you shouldn't... And even if it sets the mood, I'm scared you'll get drunk and then that'll just ruin everything... By everything, I mean the date." Yoongi said.

"I'm fine with no alcohol, I don't want any anyway." Jimin chuckled.

They ordered their food and ate their dinner, enjoying every bit of it.

Once they got their desert, it was about time. Yoongi for up, "I'll be back in a minute." He took his jacket and headed to the restroom.

"Now where's the ring?" He mumbled to himself as he looked in the coat jacket. "Found it." He grinned and took out the ring placing it in his hand, closing it around the ring so Jimin wouldn't see it.

He walked out and kissed Jimin on the lips right away.

"What was that for?" Jimin asked.

Yoongi rolled his eyes, "Can I not kiss my boyfriend?"

Jimin laughed, "Sure you can."

All of a sudden, as Jimin was sitting down and Yoongi was standing, Yoongi took both of Jimin's hands into both of his. Also, making sure Jimin didn't see or touch the ring.

Yoongi looked into Jimin's eyes and vise versa. "Jimin, listen to me, ok?" Yoongi asked as Jimin nodded.

Jimin was honestly afraid that maybe something happened and Yoongi wanted to break up and that's why he was being all sweet and using more money than usual.

Right then, Yoongi started rapping something, that actually Jin had written for him. I'm sorry Jin write crappy raps. Yoongi thought to himself right before he started.

" No one can stop me from loving thee
If people try, I will knee
Them in the gut till they pee
I can't live without you, you see
I'll make a whole mixtape on a cd
About how much I love thee
So won't you marry me" Yoongi rapped and slid the ring on Jimin's ring finger as he said the last line.

Jimin's eyes went wide, "You rap?"

Yoongi nearly face palmed himself, "Yes... But that isn't the point."

Jimin smiled, "I know... And yes I will."

Yoongi smiled and cupped Jimin's face into his hand as he passionately kissed Jimin.

On the way back home, they were hand in hand. Jimin looked at his left ring finger where the ring now laid.

They were officially engaged now.
