The Spy Ops

Robert time

"Hey Luke!" I came into the office so happy and cheery.

"Riley...you look happy today."

"I am. And do you wanna know why."

"Sure."

"Firstly" I showed an one on my fingers. "We are going to catch that asshole, Robert today.
And secondly it is like two weeks before our big mission. And I can't wait."

"Ah that's right..." Luke said with a half faded smile.

"Then why aren't you happy?"I asked walking to a couch nearby.

"Deep inside I am, but not yet."

Obviously he wasn't. Liar.

"Well anyway. Are you're paper work done yet?"

"O crap.." Luke said rushing to his desk to do the last bit.

So I went up to Eric to get help where to find Robert.

"Riley. Good to see-"

"Same." I cut him off before he could finish.

"Sorry. Listen I need to know where Robert is."

"Robert?....Ah yes. Ok."

Ah wake up Eric. I thought.

I waited like twenty minutes for him to find something. So Luke was also here now.

"Forensic cameras show that he was at the mall on Mallrose street just like seconds ago."

"Well then what are we waiting for?" I asked.

"You're eager to find this guy." Eric said while adjusting his glasses.

"Ya think?" I ran, kissing him on the cheek. "Thank you!"

I jogged out of his office straight to the car. Luke shortly on my heels.

"You are really in a good mood today Rile."

Rile is my nick name for Luke. I love it when he calls me that.

"Lets go. I'll drive!" I grab the key and climbed into the car.

Now we are sitting at a table at a cafe in the mall. Waiting for Robert to pass...or something.

"Oh man I love this tea." Luke said while gulping it off.

"That's an unlikely thing to say for a guy."

"Whatever." He turned red in the face.

"Luke are you blushing?" I asked on the tip of laughter.

"No Riley. This tea is very hot." I could hear the embarrassment in his voice.

"Ya sure." I said.

"There he is." I whispered looking to Luke's side.

We followed Robert till now. And now we are behind a pillar in the basement.

"Really Riley?" He asked rolling his eyes.

"What?" I said asked while chuckling.

"Be quiet." Luke said taking is pistol out. So I decided to do the same.

"On three ok." Luke said looking at me.

I nodded.

"Robert!" Luke yelled.

"Hands in the air. Now!" Then Robert began to run.

"Really?" Then we both began to run after him.

"You go round the back and I will go through that door." Luke said quickly.

After what felt like ten minutes of running I sat on Robert's back, putting on his handcuffs. 

"Wow ...you're feisty girl." 

"Oh shut up!"

"Impressive." Luke said trying to find his breath.

"Thanks" I said, winking at him.

Back at office Nel congratulated us. Especially for me. Yes I did it. Then Luke investigated Robert. This guy is a total freak. I'm so glad we found him. I feel like I'm walking on clouds.

"Well that was hard" Luke said walking up to me.

We were now in our office. And I was sitting reading a book on the couch. Luke came to sit next to me. Then I closed my book.

"Ah I thought so. That guy is a total freak." I said with discuss in my voice.

"What are you reading?" Luke asked while stretching over me to pick up the book.

"Oh it's just a book about how to enjoy life with good friends.."

"Cool"

"Ye..it's okay I guess."

The rest of the offices was silent. It felt like we were the only ones in the building.
It felt sort of nice just with Luke in the office.

Then Luke stretched over me again. This time to put the book down.
Just as he came up we were facing each other. Our faces inches apart.

We were looking deep in each others eyes. Then Luke came even more closer. Our tips of our lips touching...

Just then Eric came in.

"Sorry. Am I interrupting?"

As quick as lightning i stood up. I swear I turned as red as a tomato. 

"No definitely not." I said quickly. I could feel Luke's eyes on me.

Then Eric exchanged glances with both of us before saying, " Well then I just wanted to say that...um mm.. I got 5 votes for my 'you tube' video." He said. I could hear a little tingle in his voice.

"Wow Eric that's great!" I said walking over to my desk, grabbing my stuff ready to go out of this little weird situation. I could feel the awkwardness in the room.

"Well I guess it's time to go home. And to get a good night rest before another busy day." I said trying to keep my voice cool.

"Yep." They both chorused.

I walked out of the room directly focusing on the door. O my word. That was so weird. I felt like a little mouse trapped in a corner.

I just hope that it would all be normal in the morning.
