The Spy Ops

Let the fun begin

Yesterday we packed and organized ourselves to get ready for the mission.

Now we are entering the Royal Hotel, hanging on Luke acting like his girlfriend.Eric just behind us. With all his suitcases and laptops in his arms. Nel said that we must start acting right from the start.

So as we walked a guy with a white shirt walked pasted us. He obviously was one of them.
"His name is Jhonny." Eric whispered from behind us.

Then we walked up to the receptionist where Eric handled the book in and me and Luke still hanging on each other.
"This is...something else." I whispered into Luke's ear.
"Mhhhm" he said still looking straight infront of him.

"Please would you just talk to me." I begged.
"I did and I still am." He replied shortly.

Just then another guy with a white shirt passed us.
"That's Maron" Eric said from behind us.
"You two lovebirs better watch out" he said still walking behind us.
"Anything can happen."

"I'm going to our room and get the cameras and everything ready."
Eric said while walking up the stairs.
"You two go and explore futher."

I just nodded and put my act on big time.

"I'm sorry" I said throwing my left arm over Luke's shoulder.

"This is not the time."

"Yes it is. Please listen.
I am sorry I said that-"

Then suddenly we saw where we were. In a small shop where there was a table full of 'the gang'.

So we stayed steady and went to sit at a table nearby.

"Lets do this" I whispered quickly to Luke before they could hear us.
Luke nodded and squeezed my hand.

When we sat Luke began to talk with the meaning that they could hear us.

"So listen we have to do this good and find someone that can help us." He said looking straight at me.

Just then one of the guys stood up from his chair and came walking up to us. He must have heard us.

"Hi there" he bagan.

"Oh, hi" Luke and I both chorused back.

"Sorry I heard you two talk about to do something good. May I ask what that something is." He finished.
"Well...you are?" Luke asked looking at the guy.

"Sorry I'm Cringe."
"Nice to meet you Cringe." I said smiling, putting my hand out where he took it and kissed the top of my hand.

"Cringe...this is a top secret that you have to keep." Luke said looking very serious.

"Oh sure."

"So we are lonerangers that have a plan."

"And what is that plan if I may ask."

Then Luke break into a whisper.
"Well we.....we have to find and get all the software of this hotel."

I could see the excitement in Cringe's eyes.

"Ahh..interesting mission. We are ummm.. actually on a sort of on a same mission than you guys."

Precisely the same I thought.

"Oh really." I said making eye contact with Luke.

"Mhhm."

"So tell us more about how you want your plan to go off." Now Luke took a sip of his coffee to keep cool.

"So we are a whole gang" Cringe started.
We already know that I thought.
"I don't know why I'm telling you all this. But we are busy working on something huge. Lets just get to the point. Do you umm...two want to work with us and help us do this thing. You two are a couple yes?"

"Yes!" I said touching my hair and looking at Luke.

Luke looked at me and smile and said," We're in."

"Ya!" Cringe said with excitement in his eyes.
"So we'll meet you lovebirds tomorrow morning at elevan in Fifth street.!?"

"See you then.." I said with a wink.

"I am so nervous and excited at the same time for tomorrow! " I exclaim as we both entered our room where Eric was already sitting with he's laptop at the only table in the room.

"So it sounds like you got a deal" Eric said looking at me and Luke.

"O ya..and it's a big one alright." Luke said flatly. Still avoiding eye contact with me.

He is obviously still mad at me for the other thing that happend like three days ago.
He just can't get over something.
"So where, when and how?"
Eric asked looking straight at me.

"Tomorrow morning at elevan at Fifth street. The name is Cringe."

"Awfull name!" Eric said rolling his eyes.

"I know right!"

"So he saw that you were..you know..together."

"O ya. He called us lovebirds. So that definitely worked."

"Great. So you guys are in big time."

"Mhhhm!" I said while pouring water in in a big glass.

"I'm gonne go wazz and get a good night sleep before our big day." Eric said standing up from where he sat and walked straightly to the bathroom.

Just as I took a sip I saw Luke out of the corner of my eye watching me closely.
He was sitting on the couch and didn't take his eyes of me.
Weerd.

"What?" I exclaimed

"Nothing."

I was now standing right infront of him.

"Oh ya..Then why are you watching me like that?"

Just then Luke grabbed my arm and forced me to sit right next to him on the couch.

"Slow down there foxy!" I said-whispered. To leave Eric to do his business.

"I need to know something.". Luke started.

"Mmhm." I said looking him straight in the eye.

"Did you...umm..did you mean what you said three days ago?"

"What?"
I asked confused.

"You know when we umm almost kissed and then you said that nothing happend.. do you really feel like nothing happened? "

Uh oh. Now I have to give Luke the truth. To tell him that I love him!?

"Well not completely." I started.
"I was just.... I guess I was scared."

"Of what "

"Of us. Kissing you meant that everyting would change. Our friendship. Our happiness as friends."

"But I... I don't want to be just friends anymore."
As Luke said I immediately looked at Eric's room door.

"Luke...I like you I really do. We worked with each other for so many years know and I feel that we shouldn't-"

Just then Luke grabbed my hand and pulled me even more closer to him.
Then he leaned in and kissed me.

Then so many thoughts ran through me. Out friendship is broken. I have a secret against Eric. And I will never be able yo see Luke as just a friend from now on.
But that's okay right!?
