Anthony's POV
It has been a week and two days.
A week for me to realize, two days for me to understand.
I was in denial as to why? Why would she do that? I know I'm a bad boy and shit, and have a reputation, but why does she have to do that?
"Dude!" Slapping Sam's arm as for him to cut making out with his girlfriend. "No PDA! We've discussed this!"
"Sorry." Mumbled Eliza, grinning slightly.
"Sorry, my ass. Guys! Tell me as to why is she doing this? It's really rude of her, you know." I said crossly.
"Well why don't you go and ask her?" suggested Brent from my right.
"You think it would be possible? Yeah sure, I'll just go up to the girl and say 'Hey, I've noticed that you started to ignore and avoid me, care to elaborate?'" I said annoyingly.
"Sure." Brent grinned cheekily earning one of my not-so-playful glares, but he never gets scared of them like other people. Cocky bastard.
"What's the big deal anyways? Why do you care so much?" piped in Jason.
"Because we talked one night, and got to know each other. The next morning I find out that she is dead on ignoring me the whole day. Ok I let it slide for the first day, you know, being the new girl, new school and shit, she doesn't know me and blah blah blah.
"Second day, she avoided my gaze when Ms.Kingsley paired us up for an assignment. Third day, she acted as I was not even next to her. Fourth day, I went up to her to ask what's wrong but she just turned the other way and didn't even face my direction. Then came the weekend, now Wednesday is here and she hasn't said anything to me since last Monday.
"Whipped." Muttered Brent before I shoved him, hard. "Bastard." He muttered once more. "What's your problem anyway?"
"You know how I hate it when people ignore me after I talk to them. And as far as I know, you guys know that I don't talk to many people besides you lot." I replied.
"But you are alright when you ignore people?" mumbled Brent. I nudged him with my elbows to his ribs where he puffed out a breath. "Douche bag." The guy is waking up with bruises tomorrow.
"Well, stop speaking nonsense."
"Bro, chill. There she is, just go talk to her." Jason pointed towards where Bianca stood. Maribel was speaking to her with a worried expression. When I edged closer to the pair I heard Bianca's words speak.
"I'm sorry, Maribel, but we shouldn't hang out anymore."
"But why? Did I do anything? Did I say anything? If I did then I'm sorry."
"No! It's not you! It's just I don't want to be attached to anyone over here. You are amazing, but I don't want to have any friends in this school or in this country. I'm sorry if I seem mean and rude, but I don't want to get attached to this place."
I couldn't see Bianca's face but I saw Maribel's. Maribel was known to be everyone's friend in our school. She was kind and good looking, no doubt. So it was a real surprise when a person denied Maribel's friendship. Bianca was a first. Of course I tried to also, but she is just so persistent that she eventually became a person I tolerated and enjoyed company with. Brent seemed to enjoy her company a little too much.
"Fine, Bianca. But still, my arms are always open if you need them, alright?" She opened her arms to indicate that she will always be there, heck she was always there for anyone in this school!
