Bianca's POV
I was awakened by the constant buzzing on my back pocket of my jeans. So imagine my annoyance when you are peacefully sleeping with your little sister in your arms dreaming of getting away from all of the drama in the world until the buzz and ringtone of Fall Out Boy's I Don't Care blaring out of your behind. Yeah, not a great feeling.
I groaned as my hand slipped into my pocket picking up my phone which displayed a picture of a very cheery Maribel calling me. My hand didn't work fast enough to answer so it became a missed call. Next was shown couple of texts, all from her. My slim fingers crossed across my cold screen over the text leading me directly to a whatsup chat. I read over her text making me smile at the girl's enthusiasm:
Hey, chica!
Wakey-wakey!
We have a big day today.
As I said before; the mall, salon, lunch, mine or your place, then the party.
I will come over by 9:30 am. I know it's early, but trust me when I say that I take a long time to get ready; you don't want to be late to the first party of the year, right? ;).
Anyways, before I come you should be showered, fed, dressed and ready to go!
I checked the time from the top corner of the screen and nearly screamed when I saw that it was already 9:10. I had 20 minutes to shower, be fed and get dressed. Okay, I can shower for a matter of ten minutes since my hair isn't that dirty; I can just take a snack and dress up quickly in a matter of 5 minutes, but I cannot dry my hair that fast!
Quickly, I jumped of my bed making Diana groan at me while giving me a death glare; grabbing two towels, my undergarments, a pair of blue jeans and my long-sleeved striped blue shirt from Oxygene, I bolted to the bathroom across the hallway of my room. I check the weather and saw that it was about 20 degrees! That's cold for me.
As I said before it took me exactly 10 minutes in the bathroom. 8 minutes to shower, and 2 minutes to wear the clothes I got with me. Darting past my brother's and mother's bedroom doors, I headed to my room where Diana was still sprawled on my bed. I put my phone on the charger while taking my wallet and putting it inside my bag, but not before checking if I had any cash; yup, I still do. Also getting my house keys, some of my make up to put downstairs or in the car, and snatching my jacket I stuffed everything inside. I took my towel that was closed around my hair and began to speed dry it.
I put on my adidas sneakers, took my phone with its charger and my bag, I sprinted downstairs, but not before I got a heart attack at the entrance to the kitchen. Standing there with all of his glory was my brother, his hands grasping a coffee mug while taking a sip from its contents he smirked at my reaction and the state I was at. Seriously, I could have needed an ambulance, and he is laughing at me. What an amazing brother I have guys.
"Going somewhere?" he asked.
"Like you wouldn't know." I scoffed, passing by him to reach the refrigerator and grab an apple or something.
"Let me guess, you're still up for that mall and party thing, are ya?" he said worriedly whilst I nodded at him and not looking at his eyes. Suddenly, a small crash from the room opposite diverted my attention elsewhere. Mark was standing there trying to withhold around 20-30 large, card boarded files, all that seemed to be falling from his grasps.
