“Chris would you come on!? We are about to be late!” I screamed.
I know what he is trying to do. He is trying to get out of going to school. I know it but it’s not going to happen.
“Cant I just stay home?” he asked.
“No. Now come one before we are late. And if you try to get out of school again I won’t train you today.” I said.
“Okay. Okay.” he said and followed me outside.
I hopped onto my motorbike and rode down the street to Chris’ school.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I stopped in the elementary parking lot and pulled off my helmet. Everyone looked at us as Chris took off his helmet and shook his hair like in the movies.
“Really?” I asked him.
He just gave me one of those “yes” looks. And my response was to chuckle.
“Don’t get into trouble and please don’t make me have to get out of school to come here unless you are sick. “ I said.
“Okay.” He said about to walk off but I caught him.
“And remember keep a low profile.” I whispered in his ear.
“Okay.” He said and I kissed him on the forehead before speeding off towards Mendy High.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~I came into the parking lot and all eyes were on me. I felt the need to make and even more impression so I did a very complicated trick on my motorcycle.
Everyone looked shocked and I came to a stop in a parking spot. I cut off the engine and took a deep breath and got off the bike.
I took off my helmet and the air grew tight with lust and jealousy. And the one thing that stuck out the most was the smell of werewolves. It was so strong and the only other scent there was, was a few humans. No more than about 9 of them.
I ignored the stares of shock and walked towards the front door. Before I actually walked into the building a scent hit my nose causing me to pause. I quickly shook my head and walked inside the building.
I made my way into the office and when I walked in I was instantly met with power. Two presences had a very high rank and they worked here. That meant the Alpha and the Luna of the pack that owned this territory was here at this moment.
‘Stay calm.’ My wolf said feeling me getting worried.
I wasn’t worried because I was afraid. I wasn’t afraid. I was worried because I didn’t want anything to happen to my brother. I could easily beat at least 45 of their members. But I wouldn’t.
‘I will.’ I told her.
A woman that was about 5’9”, Brown wavy hair, Grey eyes, and Carmel skin walked out.
“Hello. How can I help you?” she asked.
“Yes. I am a new student.” I said.
“Oh we are happy to have you here at Mendy High. What is your name so that we can give you your schedule?” she said.
“It’s Krystal Stone.” I said.
I saw confusion and a small hint of realization flash through her eyes and then denial. I knew what was happening. She thought that I was the Alpha of my pack then realized that I couldn’t be because I was “human”. But if only she knew.
“Here you are.” She said.
“Thank you.” I smiled and walked out following the small map she gave me.
People stared at me and I just ignored them. Finally after what seemed like hours of walking I found my locker. I opened it and took out my math and literature book since those were my first two classes.
I followed the short way to my first class and just as I was about to turn the corner I smelt a smell about 3 yards away from me. I decided to take the long way to avoid the one thing I didn’t need.
‘He is our mate. Go to him.’ My wolf yelled.
‘No! we have to focus on school and have to find a job.’ I said.
She huffed and gave me the silent treatment. I gave a sigh of defeat knowing that I didn’t like when my wolf and I fought especially in times such as these.
‘I will let you meet him today but please no howling or giving me the pull. You know Chris and I have to train.' I said to my wolf.
She sighed but agreed. I knew this was hurting her and me but we were Alphas. We needed to take back our land and get revenge.
‘Something isn’t right.’ My wolf said.
‘What?’ I asked.
‘Have you noticed the human smell is slightly different like they aren’t really humans?’ She said.
‘Yes I have noticed. But for right now I don’t think it is a threat.’ I said.
‘No you aren’t getting what I was saying. They may be from our pack.’ She said.
‘What? They are dead.’ I said confused and a hint of sadness in my voice.
‘You know how you asked me to mask our scent they could have done the same..’ she said.
A small part of me grew happy at that thought. But I still had an all serious face on.
I walked into my class and it was ridiculous. There were no one even in here and it was the start of second period. I shook my head in disapproval. I sat in the far back and looked as the teacher got all excited about one student. Me.
She was a true blue human. She had to be. Any other creature would just be all nonchalant about it.
“Welcome to Math. My name is Mrs. James and you must be our new student Krystal Stone am I right?” she asked.
“Yes.” I said.
“Well at least you aren’t like the other students. They come in when half the class is over.” She said.
“Oh. Well can I get started on my work?” I asked.
“Uh yea we are working on pages 24-26 in your work book.” She said.
I nodded and started on my work.
