Chapter 8: My Mate and My Emotions

I laughed with my pack as we went to the cafeteria. We had just had an amazing 5th period and let’s just say some people are going to need a lot of Tide and Gain.

Hey don’t look at the screen like that. It wasn’t our fault. They started it.

“Dang! I forgot that I need that book for my research in literature.” I whispered to myself.

“Well you can get it after school.” Felisha Suggested.

“Naw I better go get it now while I’m thinking about it.” I said.

“Okay well we’ll see you in 6th period.” She said.

“Yea see ya.” I said and walked down the hall to the library.

I walked up and down the aisle trying to find this one book. It was the only one I needed for my project and the librarian said they had it here.

I heard something but decided to brush it off. Besides, who could kill me unless? Unless they were sent by Karsh.

I turned the corner and saw something that I would never want to see. It broke my heart. It would break any werewolf’s heart.

I stood there and looked at Caine, my mate kissing a blonde head. I shook my head and calmed down. Although he was mine I wasn’t calming him.

At this thought my wolf started to struggle to make herself known.

This was unlike her. We always came to an agreement sooner or later but she was being rebellious. And it was all because of this male.

‘Cool it. We will have him.’ I told her.

‘Shut up. This is your fault. Your fault that another female has her dirty paws on our man.’ She snapped.

I was shocked. Never has she ever in our life yelled and screamed at me. Never has she blamed me for things even if it was my fault. And the more I thought about it the angrier I got. This male was getting between my wolf and our relationship. But I couldn’t be mad.

‘I’m sorry. If I would have known that my parents would have been killed in front of my eyes and my little sister and older brother would be killed I would have prepared myself.’ I said hurt.

‘Krystal I’m sorry.’ She said.

But I didn’t want to hear it. I was about to blow up with emotions and I needed to come for what I came to get.

“Excuse me but maybe you two can make out on the next book shelf. I need a book from this shelf.” I said.

 I saw Caine’s body tense and my wolf sneered. He and the blonde moved and all the while he stared as I walked to the shelf and grabbed the book I needed. I turned and walked out the area.

I kicked the air doing a major workout. I needed it to calm down because right now I was an emotional reck.

I was on the verge of crying and breaking everything all at once.

I went over to the boxing bag and let out all my anger on it. I was sweating but still I kept going. My bones were beginning to ache but I ignored them.

My wolf tried to apologize in the past but she learned that I was too upset to talk to her right now.

I felt a presence behind me so out of the bleu I threw a punch over my shoulder and someone caught my hand. I instantly knew who it was by the sparks I felt on my arms.

“Whoa there. Careful.” Caine said in my ear.

“Do you want children?” I asked.

“What does that tell you?” he asked as I felt him behind me.

“Well then you should take your hands off me before you are unable to produce the cells.” I said angrily.

“What did I do?” he asked.

Without warning I flipped him over my head.

“I told you to take your hands off of me.” I said walking around him.

He smirked at me and stood up.

“You really don’t want to do that again.” He said.

“Do you want me?” I asked.

He looked taken back by my question and his eyes kept flickering from blue to black.

“Do you want me to carry your babies?” I asked in a seductive tone.

He nodded as his eyes were black. I gave him a smirk.

“Too bad.” I whispered.

I stood up and looked at him.

“Wow. I didn’t think I would ever see the day that my sister uses seduction.” A very familiar voice said.

My smirk dropped to shock as my eyes glassed over. Caine looked at me in shock.

I slowly turned around and saw someone that I thought was dead. I ran into his arms as he chuckled.

“Oh Dominic. I thought you were dead.” I whispered into his chest.

“I could never leave you.” He said and kissed my forehead.

I lifted my head and saw the pack. They smiled at me and I smiled back.

“Thank you. You guys are the bestest friends I could ever ask for.” I said to them.

They nodded at me.

‘And the best pack.’ I told them mentally.

“Sis, I got someone else as well.” Dominic said.

“Daniel!” he called.

My eyes went wide.

“Daniel?” I asked as a little girl walked out.

“Big sister!” she laughed as she ran to me.

That was the last straw as the tears fell from my eyes and I picked up the little three years old. I hugged her tight against me. I missed her so much.

“I’ve missed both of you.” I said and sat her down.

I quickly changed my emotions. Because of my Alpha gene I didn’t want to be seen as weak. So I looked tough.
